Open Face Chinese Pokerofcp is .......
Sounds like something you eat.Open Face Chinese Poker
I'm looking more for "Idiot's Guide to OFCP" if that makes sense. I need a rundown of how to deal cards, how and when cards can be placed in each tier, can they be moved later on, etc.IMHO
1. Learn not to foul
2. Learn some strategy around using the board wisely - don’t clog up your money spots with trash
3. Work towards fantasy - it shouldn’t be your main motivator but high up there.
4. Find a partner and play a million hands
Can’t move cards ever.I'm looking more for "Idiot's Guide to OFCP" if that makes sense. I need a rundown of how to deal cards, how and when cards can be placed in each tier, can they be moved later on, etc.
Got it, I think. Can’t move cards ever.
Deal 5 cards to each player.
Players place their first 5 cards in whichever rows they like in front of them, all at once at the same time. (You can do it face down then turn them over when everybody’s finished placing their initial five.)
Then you take turns. On your turn you pick one card and put it in any row in front of you. (Or if you’re playing pineapple, you pick 3 cards, place two of them wherever you like in front of you, and discard the 3rd.)
Each player keeps taking turns until everybody’s completed all three of their rows - 5 cards on the bottom, 5 cards in the middle, 3 cards up top.
If your bottom row beat your middle row and your middle row beats your top row, you get your score. If not, you’ve fouled.
You can look up the scoring rules and fantasyland rules, but as for how to play a hand, that’s it - it’s simple.
Yeah, there’s no discarding. That’s why a lot of us prefer the pineapple version, where you pick up three each turn and play two of them. I haven’t played it any other way in years.Got it, I think.
If I draw a card after the initial 5 and I don't like it, can I discard it? Or am I forced to use the subsequent 8 cards that I draw no matter what?
I think I like the pineapple version better. Especially if playing heads up, the standard version allows only half the decks to be in play any given game.Yeah, there’s no discarding. This is helpful already, thanks brother. A grenade has dropped on me 3 out of 4 rounds, LOVE IT.download pokerrrrrr2 app and you can play for free and learn the flow of the game.
Is that how it’s supposed to be? Because I play Chinese with a buddy almost once a month, and we play pineapple, and honestly, fantasylands don’t seem to be profitable enough. The extra card makes sense.Unless someone is in fantasy, then you deal everyone the initial five, then 9 more to the fantasy player so he has 14, thirteen to set and one to discard.
The app a lot of us use is Pineapple. If you want a game I’m @fatb@stard on there. Thanks for the heads up on the pokerrr 2 app guys. I'm guessing the OFC game on there is OFCP?
