Hi All
with enough of the cards making their way into the public, I am already planning the next order/design.

some feedback is needed
- Poker or Birdge size?
- box or no box?
- index size

the smaller font is 3mm smaller in height and 1mm smaller in width.

i have given everyone the option to select 3 choices, one for each subject.

I'm a fan of the small index. My personal sweet spot is around a blackjack index - not too small for hold'em, not too big for omaha.

I also like a box around my cards because to me, it seems more ordered and helps separate the art/denomination from the value.

Orange and cyan sound like a good pairing to me. Maybe orange/purple? Might be controversial, but I feel like the magneta should be a little darker.

I didn't make any color selections because it would only let me choose a few and I'm all for as many color back options as possible but prefer Cyan/Magenta over standard Red/Blue. Also give us Purple, Orange and a Yellow if possible.

I wouldn't change a thing on the faces, original index without a box..... If any change the inner box would be ok but I love these cards as they are with the larger original font/index

Are you able to change the Jack, Queen and King artwork so it’s easier to tell each suit apart? The royals of each suit are almost identical. Just my .02 cents

One other minor thing I would to would be to move the suit up closer to the number. The further up the suit is on the card, the less you have to bend the card to peek. And since you did bridge last time, I would do poker this time.

I don’t like the voting selection card size should not compete with color or index.

I get consolidating the post though.

Orange Purple
Poker
No box!

I didn’t buy any last time around for lack of samples. But now that a friend has some, I’m more likely to buy once I get to try them out.
Anyway, I think your poll might be flawed in that it only allows you to pick one color. Given the choice, I’d throw a vote at every color that isn’t red or blue. Color options are what are most likely to make me a buyer. Because there are countless red/blues out there - I can buy those anywhere.

Well said!!!

I prefer no box poker, but that won't preclude my purchase, color would, such as green or brown or red lol ;)

this is how i spent a friday night...
cricket is on in the background, so its not all bad

@Jake14mw @Buge

Not that they don't look good (they do) but they are now beginning to look like every other card out there. Changing those faces (especially the court cards) is going to eliminate some of the uniqueness which set them apart.

EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT!!!

Take the box and color out!!! What the world needs now is Uniqueness!

100% this. I like the faces on the current decks you made. I was just asking for a change to each suit so they are easier to tell apart

Are you saying that you tell a King of Diamonds from a King of Hearts by looking at the sword type? Or a King of Clubs from a King of Spades by which way they face?

I agree with the thoughts to keep your unique face card art though, I like them, and it does make them unique.

Ahhh I see.
Ok makes sense now.

I thought they looked pretty ‘run of the mill’ after the changes.

Yes, that’s what I mean.
Wow, I can't say that I have ever in my life even noticed the difference in the facecards (other than the suicide king). I can't imagine identifying cards that way. But I'm definitely dumber than most!

I'm a little surprised that the slightly smaller index is not leading by more. The original Statesman index is bigger than almost all of my other jumbo index cards, and I never hear people here wanting bigger than Jumbo index.

I wouldn’t say it’s about identifying the card specifically but more about helping to identify the card. I guess it’s more of a personal preference but I am not a huge fan of all the face cards look exactly the same. Maybe because all of the decks I own have different looking face cards or because I’m crazy… Jury is still out  :ROFLMAO:
