But the majority here use them. Lose us you lose your market for the mass chips and are left with 10000 nagb chips and etc to pass be tween the elites who put them in safes. Each there own id rather see them end up to players not collectors.

Limit the amount per that everyone is allowed to buy. If they flip them that’s there own thing. But you limit flipping by limiting households only qty of 200 Total. Till after 1st hr. Then Say me I get 2 racks of what I want and then it’s a free for all for peps spending 10k to land a rack of 2.50s or $500

If you want two racks from this sale you should be asking yourself, how badly do I NEED these chips? You must convince yourself you need them and then convince yourself you’re going to save these chips from being locked away and never used, which it seems you’re on your way there. If you do that you’ll have the chips, little less money but the chips will be yours…

It seems as though prefer something similar to the previous sales. Well not everyone can be happy, I personally enjoy how much these amazing offerings disrupt the market and evoke all different types of emotional responses, it’s fun to watch.

I used the word “collect” loosely. I’m assuming the chips would be used but even if they don’t it means nothing to me. Hats off to those that get ‘em!

FYP. It has now become nearly impossible to get your hands on an old school casino set, irrespective of condition. Mixed set and relabel/tributes are the only way, for now.

On chip prices v income. I don’t think they’re really correlated until cost of living goes up 20%.

On the auction format for this sale. I’m annoyed that I won’t be able to pick these chips at an affordable price. But we can’t have it both ways. TCR sells too cheap, flippers profit, everyone gets pissed off. TCR let’s the community decide on pricing via auctions, multiple buyers show interest and take prices to a point where most of the community is priced out. Everyone else gets pissed off. Let’s just learn to be happy with what we have.

The flippers got y’all here. It’s not like y’all weren’t warned - for years, like many, many times. All y’all that harped on “hey market prices free market system I’m free to sell at whatever price I waaaant” - this is what happens when it stops being hobbies and starts being individual businesses.

Jim would be crazy not to do auctions for sets and rare racks now, and just do normal sales for massive amounts of chips as he normally does.

Or, just do auctions and sell the big lots to Apache where he’ll sell them to us via his retail store over time.
