PAHWM - 4 handed ITM at monthly tourney (2 Viewers)

Stop picking on Dennis, Bill! Lol. Super agreisve player sounds none other than Patrick!! @Highli99 !

Call... let him show you the "4 ti... boobies" nice had sir, screw that damn rubber duck and see you in the cash game in about 20 minutes! Lol

Ben, these hand histories are anonymous for a reason. I try to be as honest as possible and don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Quick recap before the results:

4 handed 1.5k/3k blinds.
UTG (13 BB) folds
Button (21 BB) raises to 8k
Gandalf’s older brother (27BB) folds in the SB
Hero (32 BB) calls in the BB with :jh::4h:

Flop comes :jc: :3h: :2s:

Hero checks to Villain, who surprisingly overshoves for 54k.

Hero snap folds, because he’s a big scaredy cat. Villain shows :qs::9s: and taunts hero mercilessly the rest of the night, causing hero to have a mental breakdown and consider giving up poker forever. On an unrelated side note, you may want to check the classifieds for some big future sales.

Of course not, I’m not a fucking nit. The previous hand played into my thinking, that maybe Villain was scared he’d once again be abused by Hero, so he overshoved to keep hero from the good old Czech Jam. Hero did tank quite some time for him (about 4 seconds) before announcing a call. Unfortunately, hero ran into the top of Villain’s range (the aforementioned :qs::9s:), which held when the board ran out:kc::qh:.

Very next hand, old man raised to 10k, and thinking he meant to fold but his shaking hand accidently knocked chips over into the pot, hero raised all in for 34.5k with :6h::6d:. Villain called with:ad::jh:, and the board ran out:th::3d::3h::7h::9h:. C’est la vie; against all odds hero refrained from dusting off 5 buy-ins in the cash game, and Villain even gifted hero a nice pot at the end of the night.

confirmed best line right here, everybody else loses:

He can't bet you off the hand if you donk shove the flop.

Agreed, although he remembers The War he wasn't quite old enough to serve at the time. However, he does refer to Doyle Brunson as “Kid Poker”
Depends what you mean by "The War".
SB IS old enough to have participated in the first draft lottery for Vietnam

SB keeps insisting July 4th is his birthday even though we all know it's America's birthday, so the only logical assumption I can make is that he was born pre 1776
