My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (20 Viewers)

Limp call a raise from a frequent straddler/raiser with :kc::8c::7d::4d:

Flop is :ks::3c::2s: and we are 4 handed

We check and he bets $300. Folds to me, I ask "if I show will you fold?" and his response seems nervous so I get in my last $440, just don't believe he has a King here

He calls and we go twice

Unfortunately he has K955 and I don't outdraw him on either board

One board comes JJ, the other 9Q and he scoops

Stuck 2100 but not giving up yet.

Brush off yesterday's loss Anthony. Variance can be a fickle bitch.

There were some spots I could've played better too.

But when you've got four people who call 30bbs preflop and the winner shows up with J753 you know you're in for a ride on thr variance train.

Games were really good, lots of 4-5 way all-ins and it wasn't just players buying in short for 200-400

These guys were gambling off $800+ stacks

Saw a crazy pot on an 858 flop theres some action

Turn of a 10 the flop bettor checks, the other guy bets $700 and the first better snap jams for $3500 effective (he covers)

He has A358 and flopped the nuts, but then checkraises the turn amd later tells us he was worried the other guy had a hand like JT98 (then why checkraise the turn if you think you have 3 outs lol????)

The other player had QJ98 and called off his 3500 stack with one catd to come. It was the Ace so the first guy held and the kid spewed off a stack he had lucked into earlier (he had gotten involved in the pot that was straddled to $160 earlier and won with JJxx after the board came 776Jx)

It was definetly a wild ride with a lot of these guys swinging for the fences all night

A couple minutes after I arrived they call the 5/5/10

First hand lots of action preflop with a raise 35 and then 125, KK92 vs AA33 vs unknown

3-way All-in on a QT3 rainbow flop.

K on river lol

Lol, KK92 just busted another guy, he called 50 pre (which was a raise and reraise)with :td::tc::6c::3s:

Checked around on a :9c::8c::8h: flop four ways

Turn :th:

There's a $150 bet, one caller and he reraises to $600, gets shoved on and snaps

We straddle button to 20, two callers and guy in CO who recently got stacked by table fish raises to 100

We all call, four ways to a flop

:ac::jh::2c:

Checked to raiser who goes all-in for $280, we are only caller, he goes once

Turn :8d:
River :8c:

He has :as::ks::ts::8h: lol
Look man. Gonna be honest here. I have to work late today. I do not have time to go down there and build a stage in the parking lot today.

Got two of the better pros on my immediate left so requested the seat change button before we start
I was the first person at the table yesterday and I still got the seat change 1 button just so that nobody could switch seats without my permission.... such a powerful little button...

We limp :as::ks::kh::3s: in the CO and go 6 ways to a flop of

:kd::qs::9c:

BB leads for 175, two callers, I call, button calls

Turn :8h:

BB bets $1050 and we have to lay it down. He shows JT7x

We limp button with :ad::ac::8c::3d: after limpers

I expect SB to raise but he limps and BB with the rock checks his option

Flop :as::9c::5d:

Checked to me, I check behind

Turn :9d:

We all check

River :qc:

SB bets 125. Folds to us, we pot to 500. He calls and shows KQQJ. Had to let him catch up for the cooler

Still stuck but moving in the right direction

Three weaker players left so the 5 of us left called a supervisor to change the game to 5/5/10 since no players came from the SEVEN on the list lol

5 handed we agreed to a $20 button straddle

We call UTG with :qh::qc::2c::2d:

Five ways to a flop of :kc::8h::2s:

Checked to me, I pot for 100, only SB calls

Turn :jc:

He checks, we check behind because we're concerned he may have coolered us with set vs set

We want to avoid stacking off when behind and keep his two pairs in since he'd drawing slim, plus we have the backdoor clubs

River :6h:

He fires 300. I sigh-call he shows me KKxx and we at least avoided going broke

We were stuck $1500. Now only stuck $800 so making progress

The new 5/5/10 didn't get any traction (one new player over three dealer changes) so moved to 2/2/5

The 2/2/5 breaks I find myself back in the 5/5/10 with the best pro in the room on my left with a 7k stack

I minbuy for $500

On this hand I am $20 button straddle and pro makes it 75 from SB. Utg+1 calls 75, I pot to 315 with $235 behind, they both call

Then this utg doofus check-calls my shove with just a gutshot and we go twice. He hits a 6 on BOTH rivers

Guy at our table has been felted multiple times and rebought for $700

He pots preflop to $480 and we shove to isolate on about 1200 with :9c::8c::8d::7s:

We go twice and chop.

In for $2500 and out for $1,184

So a loss of $1,316 today

Hands that stand out are the $1500 pot where the guy called my flop shove with the gutshot and then hit it on both boards, but I played that well

The AAKQ hand I feel I should've repopped it preflop. Potting there would be over $500 and if I get one caller I've got an SPR of 1:1 on the flop plus I'm first to act

Aside from that, the games def improved as the night wore on, although the swings increased as well with a number of action players trying to juice things up

It's been awhile since I played til midnight, but I put the hours in tonight. Back at it Friday

The 5/5/10 wasn't great. We had two open seats, the other game had o e

A new player went and sat there, by the time the floor was called and asked him to move he had been dealt in and left to play 10/10 nlhe instead

New 2/2/5 called so moved there instead. The 5/5/10 broke shortly after
