I’m not even sure PNYs belong on this list. They’re way too polarizing to think “everybody else likes” them.

Sadly, I find lots of custom CPC sets to be meh. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of great ones and a few INCREDIBLE sets.
The ones I don’t like is always the inlay...either a bit too boring or doesn’t match the color of the chip at all, and looks like a sticker.

I would love to get a custom set, but I feel like if it may not be a home run, I’m scared to even pick up the bat.

Chips with a brown base color or a lot of brown are high on my dislike list.

I love my Aurora Star cash set but couldn't live with the original fracs. Took me a whole day to murder and relabel the snappers but it was worth it.

How do you feel about almond colored chips though (they are lightly brown) do they fit into the category too? For me almond color is my favorite

I think it can be ok depending on the edge spot. The issue for me with the AS frac is it's a light chocolate milk color with a puke green edge spot.

This is exactly how I always felt. I kept playing around with the designer and saw more well executed chips out there and finally felt like I could hit a home run for myself.

I don't have time at the moment to steal or link their pics/chips, but @WhiteMamba1646, @Jeevansluck, and someone else that had a bear on one really showed their full potential. They don't work as well with the original black inlays, although I still really like the chip.

I don't understand the fixation on Chicken Coop, or BTP, or even SB for that matter. None of these sets get me up or interested to buy. With how I've spent on here, and changed my budgetary expectations, I'll still never spring a dime for them. To this day, no interest. Gave away my SB sample and Chicken Coop samples as gifts recently. They are really meaningless sets IMHO!

Also can't stand plastic chips. Abbiatti was okay, but I dont understand it. They suck ass for me. Not at all interested. I still haven't spent for a single plastic chip. I don't think B&G is so far better it's gonna sway my opinion. (I've still not sampled these).
