My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (32 Viewers)

It happens outside of FL too. I think it doesn't happen a ton cause most players are actually decent human beings

But unfortunately there's always going to be fucking scumbags out there
I’m just catching up with this part of your thread. I don’t frequent casinos much anymore but I find this totally unreal. I know that whenever money’s involved there’ll always be sharks and cheats. However, I never dreamed that someone could get away with something like this at a so-called legit casino.

Shocking!

Wraps that got there?

One guy had T977, another T865 (open ended sf draw), another had Q98xx

Turn T, river 6

Please don't blame the casino. This is an issue of legalese

The chips being in front of the scumbag mean they still represent his money until they are in the pot

So the casino can't flip him by his ankles and shake the money lose unfortunately

The money represents a debt between 3rd parties and not the Casino

Yes, the scumbag is first and foremost to blame. I just never dreamed anything like this was possible. Learning all types of things from this thread @Anthony Martino !!!

Wow lol

I'm in MP with :as::ad::td::5c:

Limp in after the rock, button makes it 20, bunch of callers, I limp-pot to 155

Button calls, SB all-in for $105, MP cold calls

I have just about a PSB behind. Flop is

:qs::8s::8c:

Checked to me, I pot with 80 behind. Button just calls, MP all-in for less

Turn :9d:

I pot all-in, we go twice

First river :4d:
Second river :8h:

I figure the third 8 hitting is good news

Button has :tc::8d::7d::6c: and busts three of us lol

Got a pic of the hand and pot last night as the dealer was mucking my cards

Guy in seat 1 got a pot of around 2k, we had one main and two sidepots

Get it in with AAQ6 one suit, limp, the last to act makes it 35, I repot to 130 with only 25 behind

One limp-cold caller, guy who only runs once gets in for $155 holding JT94, original raiser calls

The two big stacks check down after a flop of 9J9 and I get scooped

If JT94 doofus doesn't get in I triple up
A fellow could make a second nut straight with JT94

I suspect the rarity of the scam probably has something to do with the idea that most people believe you could never get away with it. If you hadn't witnessed this, I would never believe the guy would have been allowed to walk out the door. And sounds like from your other post that they aren't in Cali and Vegas, which is good to know. If word starts to get around that in Florida you are allowed to walk, it may start happening a lot more often.
I knew you could get away with it. Know why? Because the Massachusetts casinos require you to actually push your chips in - none of that verbal all-in or single chip call crap allowed here. Sounded stupid to me, until this “loophole” was explained to me. Funny thing is, that rule holds for tournaments, too. Useless, but probably easier than having two different standards.

NOTHING WRITTEN ABOVE IS INTENDED TO IMPLY THAT THERE ACTUALLY IS CASINO POKER IN MASSACHUSETTS. ALTHOUGH THE STATE HAS ALLOWED THEM TO REOPEN (WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS AT THIS POINT) BOTH THE ENCORE AND THE MGM (THE ONLY TWO GAMES IN TOWN) HAVE DECIDED TO WAIT UNTIL 2022 TO EVALUATE WHETHER THEY STILL WANT POKER ROOMS.

Guy on my left constantly raising and juicing pots pre

He's had time's he's headsup and always seems to show up with AAxx

He just flopped quad 10's for the 1k high hand, but has to wait 40 minutes for it to hold

#CubanoConfirmed!!
