After recent acquisitions and transfers, (warm congratulations to @Windwalker), this might be the largest ACF set left in Europe.

I hope you enjoys these quick pictures, and hope to put up a better pron of this set soon.

Meanwhile, the set is going to the bank safe.

Thanks

Could buy a nice house with those chips in the current market.

It seems to be the case. That is why these went to the bank safe yesterday.
Took these pictures before the transfer, and wanted to share them with the community.
I hope my decision to store this set safely away from my home, offends no one.
Chips are meant to be played with and/or simply enjoyed for their beauty, but these represent too much value to be kept at home for me.

yeah
I guess my brain just can't process poker chip values over a certain amount. Now that i think about it, I recently sold a rack of PCA $5s for $1200, so what the hell am I thinking? Ha

I feel like this set is running one of the biggest bluffs on the whole of the forum. Take out the T5k and the T10k and what are you left with? The chipping equivalent of the emperors new clothes.

ESPTs absolutely crush this set. Yeah yeah history blah blah blah.

With that all said in for a sample set please!

Magnificent set, rare or not. The history of the casino/club makes it even better. GPI hacking was karma for not selling to the general public. Can you imagine what kind of magnificent custom sets some of the folks around here would have at GPI retail prices?

ACFs arent leaded. So I guess they are poop then. We are in agreement.
I'm surprised to hear that. Are you sure?
I've never handled them. But from the pictures, the inlays look textured, though I can't tell for sure, without a closeup. And while that's no guarantee of leaded Paulsons, it's a more often than not indicator.

Maybe we can get an owner to put them on scale and find out the weights and confirm if the labels are textured. @Whitewolf777 @Windwalker are you able to offer any insight?

So you don’t know if they do or do not, yet feel the need to say they don’t to further your point? Good job.

Im working with information available on forum. To the best of my knowledge nothing has been confirmed either way but most signs point to them not being leaded.

I have a single 1k chip and the inlay isnt textured so I cant speak for the rest of the chips but logic would dictate the rest arent either.

I dont have barrels to weigh and cant find anything on the forum that discusses weight etc.

So I cant know definitively but Im 99% certain.

Okay then. We are in agreement - I wouldn’t have much interest in either set, certainly not at the prices they fetch.

But to people wondering why either are so coveted, I’ll speculate. Before you even get into the colors and spot patterns, I think merely being spotted, inlaid THC tournament chips sets them apart. There must be others out there, but off the top of my head, I can’t think of any. Most THC casino tournament sets seem to be either hot stamps or solids or both.
