Stuck $600 so far. Best was a guy limp-calling my raise multiway short-stacked with J974 and flopping two pair. He only had a PSB left so wasn't folding my overpair plus straight draw

During my last home game (first in more than a year), where we played 2 orbits of NLHE and 1 orbit of PLO/ Crazy Tight Pineapple NL (three-card Omaha switching to two-card Omaha after the flop).
I found myself in PLO with a set of 2s, on the turn, on a board with 3 of a suit (the third card of the same suit arrived on the turn - my set was flopped and I bet the pot there)..
The remaining opponent bet almost the pot, representing that flush (highly credible and probable).
I called and lost, because I never made the full house.
Was it a stupid or just decent call in PLO terms?
