I'm one of the worst culprits in this thread - but honestly, I do take this 100% seriously.

People can obviously do whatever they want...I just think it's a disservice to Tommy and mods and those who are trying to fix this. This is the time people should try to help and act as a community...but to each their own. Back to meditation... Cheers...

Yeah but we should really focus on solving this because this is a very concerning situation. I’m actually on the fence of buying some chips at this very moment from a member , but I’m afraid. Is that something to joke about ?

That's a good point. While I'm on here a bunch, I'm not a huge contributor, so people may recognize my username, but haven't talked to me, so they wouldn't realize anything was off.
What can we do? Tommy will handle the situation, hopefully he's already on it.
Absolutely don't buy chips right now from anyone, that would be dumb.
Make arrangements but don't pay anything. My sales are on hold pending things settling down. Anyone in the community should be willing to wait a few days right now.

In addition to 2-factor, it might also be helpful if your paypal email address (that you share with people) isn't the same email as your account login here. Just sayin' it's not hard to brute force most peoples (short ass) passwords these days. The keyword for today is PassPhrase (think sentence).
