GL sirs but tread lightly, frac harvesting is the toughest (with the exception of roulette harvesting).

To be sure. Somebody talked about harvesting some chips and I just found it funny that people starting calling dibs. I don’t think any of us would mind having a couple of racks of these. No?

Is this a mandatory $100 chip buy or an entry fee? Any other other value to it (food/drink coupons)?

Nope you get nothing of any chips value or food voucher, but there is always free drinks and food at every casino that i had visited so far.

The $100 entry toll is the reason why that despite having 2 big casino in Singapore, not many of the Local actually visited the casino before.
 
As I understand it, the Singapore government wants to discourage its residents from engaging in non-virtuous activities. Drug dealing carries the death penalty, for example. The $100 per day penalty (150 S$, about $111 USD) for locals to gamble in casinos fits right in with that attitude while still encouraging tourists to visit and spend their money.

That what the government tell the public but in SG Govt they own the 4D and lottery system and soccer betting etc, there is however no restriction or toll imposed on that.

Casino on the other hand is owned by Genting and MBS thus any money they earn go out of SG thus the much stricter policy imposed on them.

Hard to stop people to visits casino if they want too , pre covid-19 most local that want to gamble will either go to the casino ship in the international seas or the Genting in Malaysia or Macau for poker etc

Buy access for $100
Harvest 2-3 racks of fracs
Flip for fun & profit
Enjoy fruits of your labor including free casino access
Wash, rinse, repeat!

P.S. Assuming there are desirable fracs somewhere in Singapore.

Too funny. After PCF harvesters have drained the current inventory, someone should submit a request that they remove the decimal point for version two. (Which would make version one chips error chips, causing their value to skyrocket further!)

American exceptionalism - didn't ANYONE proof the chip design, i.e. the casino or GPI?

25¢ is just so satisfying on a chip - don't need that confusing/erroneous decimal point.

That seems unlikely. They’re probably a bonus payout or something, for a game where you’re betting a buck or more.

Actually, those are not quarters...the chip states they are .25 cents!
A whole rack should cost $2.50.

Hahah I bet I know EXACTLY what happened. I don’t know if you all are familiar with Alton IL or not, but it’s a small town in the river outside of St. Louis. The only reasons people from St. Louis even go there is to drink, drive on the great river road, or do a little gambling (there are better options closer to the metro area). I’m sure the mom and pop couple that run/manage the casino came up with the designs for the hot stamp and didn’t know any better.

I think it’s the funniest thing ever and it will certainly be a conversation piece every time we host games.
 
The play here is to directly approach the casino with an offer to buy their error quarters at face value (i.e., the error being use of both the decimal point and the cent sign). You agree to wait to take possession of the chips until they get the new quarters. They are out zero dollars, the mistake is corrected, the embarrassment is avoided, and you bring them to PCF for "disposal". You can certainly send four racks to me at cost for the idea. Sounds like a great plan that has a decent chance of working!

P.S. Mentioning that you are electing not to file a complaint with the state gaming board at this time is optional. They are clearly not giving the correct valuation to any players that exchange real US currency for their quarter-penny casino checks, which is likely technically illegal.

Thanks to all the knowledge and good people on this forum, me and the new wife finally decided to try to go harvest some chips for our home games. We got 60 25c chips! What was most surprising is how good of shape they are in. We are going to try to get a rack or 2 of .50s from 2 different casinos this week too. One for a forum member and the other for us.

I used to work for the Alton Belle (which is what this casino used to be) Pretty neat little frac. Good luck with the Caruthersville 50c they wouldn't come off them for anything when I went. It was basically what you could scrounge up at the BJ tables. Its a small casino, even smaller than Alton. All I managed to get was a handful in a few hours and I was ready to get out of that hell hole. Its hard to harvest with 2 people playing BJ at one open table.
