Is there an amount of chips and a price per chip to get them to sell us Paulson chips?

They do monitor this site.
I’d bet not too closely. Maybe as some security research. But they’re pretty high tech at this stage of the game. They can’t work about their product getting in private hands for examination because it only costs a guy 5,10,25,100 bucks to go home with them. Then what? Naaaa. They don’t care

Oh it’s not them.
I’m sure it’s the casino industry putting the pressure on GPI but what do I know. So you got this thread started @RivieraDanny and it’s not about a NAGB, is what you learned from your “contact” worth several more pages of conversation or is it just January outside now?

Yep. It’s January outside. That’s it.

Now, if you had a friend high up in a little card room in Washington or owned a boat, THEN the flurry of devious planning would begin.
Maybe!! LOL I'm sure that GPI Simply doesn't want to be bothered making a bunch of 300 to 1000 chip orders for a few hundred of US when they need to be focused on making secure currency for the casinos. I'm sure the used chip market and the absurd prices we pay would have lured them back into the market if it was worth their while otherwise. If they really were concerned about the public getting their hands on the chips they would have a system in place to NOT let the 10's of thousands of de-commissioned chips fall into our hands from Indiana, Ohio and the like. BUT, as long as the idea that we are buying something we shouldn't have is proliferated the price stays high. Remember, the corporations that own the chips required in Nevada and New Jersey be destroyed are the same ones selling off their chip inventories in states that don't have such laws. Remember, the Caesars/Eldorado partnership owns the Horseshoe southern Indiana rebranded casinos and many more to come so being such a large company if GPI cared about us and the inventory it would be very easy to banish the sale of those chips and prevent them from getting to us. I think we all over think the process. that's why IGT, Bally/SGI lease the slots to the casinos and its become difficult, yet not impossible to buy a current slot machine. There's less competition in the secure chip making world than there is in the slot machine making world. It simply boils down to who someone knows to get a deal made. Obviously people in the chipping world know the right outlet to obtain the old inventory of rebranded/closed casinos. another observation is that if there was any meaningful profit to be made from us chip addicts the casinos would market us directly, especially during a time when their profits are taking such a hit. The market is small enough that some will pay the absurd amount of 7 to 8 dollars for a WTHC chip because you cant get them any more. You'll know when they really care that we get them when they aren't available any more. We want Paulsons more because we think we shouldn't have them. Classics chips are as good and can be anything you want them to be. HSI minty chips are GREAT and yet were buying them to change the inlays. I get collecting casino chips for where they came from, their quality of build etc. and what may make them valuable but come on..... 29.99 to buy a chip and murder or Alter it?? Just order them from David and they can be whatever you want them to be. Seriously, Elizabeth Indiana is NOT las Vegas and I get that a CPC to some is not a Paulson. I've never played in a casino in Indiana and probably wont either. Gaming is leisure, profit is a bonus. I'm sure there's some here for sure who DO NOT like this convo, but really I do not mean to offend. I'm glad I found the PCF and that my interest has been rekindled in the chip and the game. I will share my adventure as long as you read and am not interested in calling out urban legend or bullshitters, or conflict with drama, I've seen a bit of that already. If we had any financial influence we'd all have as many brand new Paulson chips as we wanted. Keep it real!

Lol, you haven't been around here long enough to be 'sure' of anything. Most of what you believe is mere unsubstantiated conjecture, and most of what you scoff at is actually fact. If you opened up a bit and admitted ignorance, you might actually learn something.

Enjoy your drama-free stay.

Well my friend. I see you must be one of the dramatics. Thanks for attacking. And I’ve scoffed at nothing. I think the hobby is great! I think the legend behind a lot of the chips here is great and makes the chips valuable to collectors. But being connected to friends and family in the casino industry for a lifetime some of the ideas I see are humorous some have truth and some spur profit, again I have scoffed at nothing and mean no offense to anyone. Remember scrolling by is always an option.

@BGinGA shit I just noticed you called me ignorant. Thanks buddy appreciate the insult.
Ignorance is not an insult. It's merely being unaware of the facts.

I’ll bet if you came with a 1,000,000 Chip order they would fly you to Vegas and hand deliver them.
Once again, you would be incorrect. I'll take that bet for any amount of money you are comfortable wagering and capable of paying.

Ok. Challenge accepted. You get me the 1 million chip order and the cash required to place it and I will make it happen. Not 999,999. One million.

The bet, 10% of the value of the order.

Erm there was already an order not far off half that amount. I cant be sure but I don't think it was a group buy @BGinGA? :ROFLMAO:

Also, if you are so confident just front up $1m yourself, get your chips and sell them on here for at least $3m. Easy peasy

Lol. You get the GPI order in place (never gonna happen) -- or even just started -- and I'll easily come up with the $1M cash. Minus your 100k gambling loss, of course.

I'll even consult -- for free -- on who to contact (unless you feel using your connections are a better choice), specifically what to order, and the appropriate quantities involved. It all starts with a phone call and/or email. Action's on you.

You are simply unaware of how any of this works, and the long and storied history of why it is this way. But if you're convinced it's all really that simple and that it's only about the $$ with GPI, then please give it your best shot. Well worth a $100k finders fee to me.

I've no interest in getting involved with this, I will say however that the people who have attempted orders from the GPI either directly or through a "facility name" and failed are the reason why they keep tabs on the forum. The failures brought their wandering lawyers here for a look see, and the failures struck their attention enough that they have changed their regulations on requirements for ordering now. They don't sell to the home market anymore, and that is that. To them we are peasants.
The folks that have been successful, were done a few years ago or prior to that, the folks that were really successful didn't sell their chips publicly, if at all.
There's things you don't know yet, about how this doesn't work. The more you try and fail the more they laugh
