There's a lot of speculation around BITCOIN, ETH and cryptocurrency in general; stocks being overvalued or undervalued; industries being ready for investment or not... so here's a question:

If you had a million dollars IN HAND today, and you couldn't use it to pay bills, pay off your home, nothing personal. but just invest for aggressive-ish growth: given the markets, political environment, and the state of the pandemic: where /how would you invest the money, and why?

(I'm using a million instead of the usual $1000 proxy because I want the movement to be meaningful not just in percentage gain, and allow for enough room for good strategy.)

Depends on if this million is a large percentage of my NW. The higher percentage its worth the more I'm tipping this to rental/stock vs. Cryptos. But if it's not all I have then 30% rentals (not now, but after the pandemic/evictions can resume as its a lot less risk), 25% stocks, 25% BTC, 10% ETH and 10% Alt coins.

I’d buy a profitable company where the owner was getting ready to retire. And I promise to protect the culture or something. Prob need more than a Mil but there are a ton of boomers with profitable businesses they’ve held on to a little too long probably for sentimental reasons. Ton of those businesses are going to pass down or be sold in the next 10 years.

I’d research technological advancing instruments in medicine that are traded publicly. I seriously believe we will see significant technological changes in standards for the medical field.

With that being said, a company like Vuzix would be a starting spot, but I’m sure there are more out there that may be better investments.

SN: Since April 8, Vuzix has returned 467% on shares.

Also, take my advice with a grain of salt as I’m relatively new to investing.

Depends how how short/long term the investment is for For the long haul I’d Use it for down payments on a few rental properties. Borrow the rest at low rates. Let your tenants pay off your mortgages. Sell or keep the rental
Income coming in.
but I also agree in using some for high speculative stocks like marijuana, electric car, type companies and also most in the big companies like Amazon, etc.

I was going to say something in the medical field too. Not sure specifically what. Maybe telehealth related?

At my old job, we were doing telemedicine visits for “clients” awhile back like pre 2016. Had I been interested in investing, I would have definitely started putting money in that area of the market during that time period. Crazy.
