What’s you’re golf handicap? (1 Viewer)

@Redbelly had a golf aspect to his meetup a few years ago. I missed it because I had other plans that weekend but did manage to make the Friday night poker.

I don't have an established handicap. I generally shoot in low to mid 80's. Very happy when I finish in the 70's, disappointed with 88+. Low round was a 71 on a par 71 (double bogied 18 ffs ), years ago.

My index is an 8. I love golf and poker. With all the golfers here I am surprised there haven no golf/poker meet ups. Or maybe there have been and I just have not been here long enough.

I organised one in Scotland for June this year. I’d love to be able to blame Covid-19 for the lack of interest...

beautiful, would love to arrange a poker/ golf meetup in the old country for sure. Only problem I have is without a cart I'll have no where to stash my box of cigars and all beer , not to mention the AED when I have a heart attack from walking more than 500 yards at a time.

I recently played royal new Kent in Richmond Virginia. Beautiful course. Nice little par 3.

played tot hill farm just outside of pinehurst. that was a hard course! Gotta hit a big boy drive on this hole! The logo would look good on a piker chip thou.....

Edit: now I get it. It’s just £x per hole and it carries over to the next hole if nobody wins. Who came up with the name “skins” though?!?!
