Official Fit Competition (Sept 7 - Nov 30) (4 Viewers)

Does it explain how to get you and @dmoney off my back in the fight for second? If so, I’m in!:)! I stepped it up to 12hrs of cardio this past week with consumption still around 1500 cal/day...I refuse to make this easy on you two!!!

To those in the upper-middle: KEEP IT UP!!!

To those in the lower half at this point...I’ll say what I said earlier...another 5 or 6 weeks is a TON of time!! 1-2lbs/week can get you down around 10lbs more by the end! Schedule a single workout this week. Make a conscious effort to skip one or two snacks/beers each day. It adds up! I’d still love to see everyone over 5% at the end...especially you @BarrieJ3 !

I definitely can’t either but figured I’d try to go two weeks with that plus the increased cardio to try to put some distance between us! You and @dmoney just won’t go away!!:)!!

One month to go! <200 is definitely within reach. Hope y’all are all staying on track. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a little burnt out for eating part of it. The exercise is habit now, no problems there

Haha, fair enough. I think I just weighed in a few days ago, so we will see where I am at the end of this coming week.

Yeah definitely not going to win this one on weight loss, but it's gotten me eating better and focused on running again (I ran 9 miles this week). I'll count that as a win.
 
Ok with a month left I will hunker down and get back into the work out groove. Weve been hunting almost every weekend
 
Well this hasn’t gone exactly has planned. Time for workouts has been impossible to find.... but my diet has been pretty great. Feeling good and more like myself again. Calling that a win. Shooting for a strong November.
 
I slipped on some mud about 3 weeks ago coming down a hill, caught myself, and pulled a muscle in my back. Wasn't so bad when I did it but a week later is was spasming every few minutes and made things like climbing a flight of stairs really painful.

Was 'ignoring it' by virtue of burning through a lot of OTC pain killers until my wife noticed and sent me off to the doctor. I've had muscle relaxers the last few days and feeling somewhat better but went for a 2.5 mile walk last night, felt great... this morning, ffffffff.......

So diets going alright, but no exercise to speak of.
 
Ah man. I fell off of this -- ZERO days exercised in October with the exception of a 3 mile walk :(. I will see if I can turn it around for December's check in.

GOAL: To lose 25lb by the time my student debt is paid off.
MONTHLY CHECK IN:

August: 175.0 lb - BMI: 27.4 - BP: 156/94
September: 167.6 lb - BMI: 26.2 - BP: 144/86
October: 166.4 lb - BMI: 26.1 - BP: 140/84
November: 168.2 lb - BMI 26.3 - BP: 142/86

20 STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS REMAINING -- 18.2 more pounds to lose

So much for silently doing anything! Halloween parties slowed my momentum, but I’m back on it this week. :)
 
Jumped on the scale quick this morning... running late. 229.6!! Pretty excited to be back under 230... not much but it counts! My goal since the beginning has been 220 when my starting weight was 278... need to get back on the bike and make sure I get there... the last couple of weeks have only been a couple pounds loss each... not to mention 2 weekend of hunting camp sitting around the fire drinking... yup... just water. But still hard to follow a good diet when traveling far from home stuck out in the woods. I did very well with it and haven’t had any positive weight days but the losses are definitely crawling at this point!

Looking at the chart I must say Congratulations to everyone who really took this seriously... in the beginning it seemed like there wasn’t going to be much competition, even lately a bit of smack talking is awesome!! A bit surprised that we have zero side bets going!! Come get that number one spot!!

Even the ones that ever really tried... man we have like 3 weeks to go, get on board and you can still put a good number up and feel better about yourself!! Thanksgiving is just the end of this competition. My hopes are if we do get a seat in SQM in February to walk in under 200 pounds... will that happen?? Side bets welcome but I wouldn’t bet against it happening!

I might be interested in some side bets for SQM. I definitely want to keep losing a bit even after the competition ends. What are you thinking?

But you are an artist of the first order, so I’ll chalk it up to the torment required for the art. I’m fat and happy, and no artistry.
 
Daymun the guys catching up quickly want to bet... I have a feeling this may be a sucker bet. I really haven't come up with anything interesting yet... any thoughts? Even from someone not included? I like extra inspiration!!

Oh an just finished flounder fillets with a lemon gravy over rice with sauteed squash/zucchini and bean sprouts... you guys might be winning by the end of the week!! So delicious
 
You already won so I don’t want to taint that. I am also willing to put an early cut off, weigh in and reup to February 13. Or finish and reup. I have a small rhythm I don’t want to lose even if I don’t win.
