Hello Everyone!

After some thought and then some more thought, I have decided to let go of my SHUFFLETECH. Here is the brief history of the unit. I acquired it in an estate sale about a year ago (it came with the table that I purchased). I feared the worst, having done my homework prior to purchasing as I know that the units can sometimes be finicky... Once in my possession, I cleaned it up as best as I could and it was all in working order. It never made it into our main home games (the reason being is that we prefer using KEM Bridge sized cards). I proceeded to successfully build a sidecart for it which is now sitting in my garage. All in all it is a great unit, that I really don't see why naysayers hate it so much. I have kept the auction open for a few weeks, so get the word out or if you are looking at paying it forward to your home game host... this is a great chance to grab one of these units. You can do your own homework on other websites to see that this is a great price!

Please read the notes below carefully before bidding.

What the AUCTION WINNER receives:
- Shuffletech 1000
- 2 *NEW* MODIANO decks of cards (1 red, 1 blue; Bridge/Jumbo)
- Shuffletech unit instruction booklet
- AC/DC Power Cord (bought from bestbuy; works well, suited for mounting under a table; *buyer may need to buy a 90degree angle tip for the unit to sit flat on a table)
- A card game where no one groans about dealing and you avoid the classic "story-teller" or "microphone" dealer who takes 5 minutes to shuffle-up and deal! ^^
- Mount Kit Plate*

^^ Not my guarantee!

****AUCTION ENDS: Friday, July 31, 2020 @9:00 pm (TORONTO TIME/Eastern Time)****

NOTES:
Exterior of unit - great shape, a few nicks and scratches, but nothing to be bothered about
Interior of unit - I did not dare take it apart as this is not in my skillset. Q-tip cleaning of the rollers was all I attempted.
Shuffletech preferences - What I learnt: It HATES Bridge sized cards. LOVES my copag poker sized cards. I am willing to do testing for bidders with the decks I currently have in my possession (KEM, Modiano, Copag, Bicycle, WSOP, gemaco, and I think that may be it). Let me know if you would like me to test decks that I have and I will run them in the laboratory (my garage)
COVID concerns - Unit has not been around others outside my COVID-free household.
Shipping & Handling - I will be packing the unit with bubblewrap and as much styrofoam as I can to ensure the Shuffletech get safely to your address.

I am not sure if I missed anything, but take a look at the pics below and I would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have about the unit.

GOOD LUCK to ALL!

I didn't realize it didn't return the shuffled deck to the top of the machine.

So, um, how do you cart-mount it if you have to pull the tray to get to the shuffled deck?

Actually it does…. FMK is FLUSH MOUNT KIT... there is a Toggle switch on the underside that gives you the option for top loading (flush mount kit needed), or side tray (as seen in my video)

Sorry for the confusion!

Damn this is a long auction, lmao

I guess my thinking was that if I put it for sale, it would've been snapped up immediatemente by someone who happened to be at the computer... that would be awesome, but I know the feeling of missing out because life gets in the way. I want to be fair and give everyone a shot and there are no excuses if someone misses out. In addition, I know that some of the auctions and sales aren't always in the budget for everyone, so I hope this gives ample time for people to count their ducats and spurge on this auction!

Good Luck!

Very true, very true indeed

You didnt buy that from me years back did you? XD

I shipped one to someone in Canada when our tournaments died off and then everyone left and the cash games
did to. That thing was COOL. It worked well too. Mine was a few years old though.

Do they still make these? A new model would be legit if they do and its even better :)
LOVED that thing :)

Nope. Didn't get it from you! Bought here in Canuckland!

I will ship internationally, but again it is incumbent on the auction bidder to know what their postal service is like. Case and point - my wife ordered shimano speedpedals from the Netherlands in april knowing this quarantine is going to mess up her cycling routine, and the pedals got to Canada beginning of June, and for some reason delivered today.

The point is... I will gladly send via post however the winner would like (speed, pricepoint, etc.), but I cannot control the postal service and whatnot.

So yes I will ship internationally. I will check shipping prices closer to the end of the auction.

I was poking around Shuffletech's website and found this:

Stand-by Mode. The presentation tray does not have to be in the shuffler for it to shuffle a second deck. The unit will complete the shuffle and then pause until the tray is returned. The shuffled deck will then be ready in less than 3 seconds once tray is inserted. This means you can actually use three decks to play the game (self-standing model only): one deck in play, another one in the presentation tray ready for the next game, and a third deck shuffling. This is a great feature for fast paced games such as heads-up or when an individual misdeals.

So, if you don't have this flush mounted you can really speed up your game.

FYI everyone :)

A little birdy told me that there are a lot of people "watching" this thread.

All those interested or those of you here that have insight about shuffletech cutouts - plugging them check out my table rebuild thread!
