You can only save one set ..... (3 Viewers)

Under "normal" emergency circumstances, live creatures (like wives and puppies) can take care of themselves, having a soul, an instinct and legs (2 or 4, whatever).
Chips, though, cannot take care of themselves
That said, it's quite clear that live creatures should carry a lot more emotional value for non-degenerate human beings:D

Wait. Wot?
Down to around 5,600 currently, most have been milled or inlay-replaced as Essential Star chips. Here's a pic of some I've let go in the past:

To echo @Poker Zombie indeed an actual fire is no joke. Our family farm burned down in 2008, small fire started at the back, within 30 minutes the fire was visible from miles away. Luckily our house was detached and unharmed and nobody was hurt. 20,000 sq ft went poof.

On topic, probably my grail chips also because they would be difficult to replace. Not irreplaceable, but quite difficult me thinks.

I think in my case, it would be: "Man suffocates in house fire while trying to figure out which beloved poker chip set to save".

I have several heavy favorites, and a few that simply could not ever be replaced. Even deciding now -- under no time/death pressure -- is nearly impossible.

Probably one of these four: Four Queens, 20th Century, GCOP, or the recently-completed x18 tourney set (Regency, Copa, Eddie's, Casablanca, Circus Circus). But many others that are just as nice or nicer: several Star sets, 43mm tourney set, mixed-casino cash set, Riversides, Jessie Becks, Money Trees, etc., etc.

But one thing is for sure -- my first priority would be the wife and four puppies. :)
Is there a gallery somewhere where mere mortals like us can view your chips. I imagine it will be quite a religious experience.

This hits a bit different.

Very true. In retrospect, I didn't grab the guitar though. Figured it was replaceable. I did grab my Binion's set and my Outpost keeper set though, as well as my singles collection in addition to the other stuff I posted earlier though. But I left my CPCs and other chips behind. I figured CPCs could be replaced as well.

My wife grabbed all her jewelry and put it on. Looked pretty funny with all her necklaces and rings and earrings on  :ROFLMAO:

Looks like we're safe now though. They've pretty well contained the fire. We're back home.
