What’s all the buzz with hot dog rollers?
You realize there are much better ways to heat your meat? Stick your wieners in a crock pot. You can warm so many more meat sticks at a time. And they come out so moist.
Have a nice day

2 months? Fair enough... gonna take me that long before I can afford a nice chipset anyways...
Not all of us are ballin enough to buy 3000 Star sets AND a hot dog roller. So we gotta improvise

Of course, "taste like they were cooked on a roller" is pure bs...

Lots of trolls in Colorado... :cool

Whenever one of my friends or work colleagues complains about stuff that I've ordered for them to eat at dim sum, my standard retort is, "Have you ever eaten a hot dog? This can't be worse than that."

(runs away)

How many hot dog vendors on the streets of Chicago have rollers? That's what I thought. The hot dog kings of the world have spoken.

Same thing in New York.

But hey, if you prefer your hot dogs boiled in month-old toilet water, who am I to criticize?
Not up here in the tall cool pines In the land of 14,000 ft peaks. We fill our crockpots with pure local mineral spring waters...at least the ones that are upstream from the mining pollution.

We also use these things called grills. Damn tasty.

So if you don't own a roller and don't want to invest in one....shame and I don't get it. o_O
But if that's the situation and you have a crock pot, sure it's probably an okay alternative.

But, even OP's reference acknowledges that Roller > Crock Pot
