Villian (Martin Surovec) makes it 6k utg. I flat mid position with AK. 2 more calls. 4 to the flop.

Flop rainbow AK10. Villian bets 8k. Hero raises 20k. Villian calls.

Turn is a 4 and now a diamond draw. Villain and hero checks.

River brick 7. Villian overbets 150k into 60k pot w effective 200k.

Action on hero 200k effective.

Not only does Hero seek to destroy his WSOP opponents, he gives no quarter to @FestiveKnight and his utter hatred for such PCF vernacular in the retelling of this hand.

Anyway, this is PCF, so there is only one answer:

"Pot Motherfucker."

On a serious note, minimum 6k UTG from a pro with QJ is odd, so all we are worried about at the river is really AA/KK/TT, or of course he could have AK himself. I think if you reraised pre we get some more information on his hand, but since you're calling it a 'what if' I'm assuming you found a fold to one of those. Tough position, especially villain flatting your reraise on the flop. I'm thinking your fold is a sound one based on that. I'm actually more curious of what he put you on, because from a pro that overbet basically screams, "call me AQ/AK". I'm also dumb though, so take that into account.

I do have one friend arrived last night for the weekend. And another local pcfer joining today to rail the bubble . We will be in the money in less than 30 minutes or so. Hand for hand will be a big production event.

Make sure that they leave you out of the railing plans chat group so not to distract you. Except for the matching clothes each day.

Obviously they need to know what you’re wearing so that they can all properly coordinate their secondary colors based off your wardrobe.

Have they already gotten their Booyah tattoos? Or to maintain good juju we’re probably waiting until officially in the money for that - good call, makes sense.

No doubt the correct play is 3b but I really like I disguising and trapping.

I fold AK. Villian had QJ. Villian put me on AK. We both were right but I was a mess for a few hours. He doesn’t tell me until end of the night when we bag and I donate $400 to a charity of his choice.

The fold allows me to double up thru him 3 hours later QQ > K7cc on a 9 10 J cc flop . Flush doesn’t come but an 8 does on the river where I get it all in and he calls.

I also noticed a secondary chip mixed in with someone’s stack lol. I called him out sarcastically for cheating and he was confused. A few people at the table wanted to argue it was the same chip until they looked more closely lol. Dealer called floor and they switched it out. Probably just an internal mistake in the cage. The colors are very similar and it’s only a T1K.

Sidenote : Is this the first year the main event has its own deck of cards? Always surprises me they don’t use jumbo font…
