Eldorado Casino Chip Collection
Hello fellow collectors!
I am excited to share with you my passion for collecting the full set of Eldorado Casino chips from Reno, Nevada. This journey started out as my first foray into the world of casino chip collecting, and I have been hooked ever since.
The Eldorado Casino has a rich history in Reno, Nevada. It first opened its doors in 1973, and over the years, it has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. The casino is known for its lavish decor, top-notch entertainment, and, of course, its wide selection of games.
As I began my search for the perfect chips to add to my collection, I found myself drawn to the history of the Eldorado Casino. I spent countless hours researching the different designs and colors of chips, and I was fascinated by the stories and memories that each one held.
I am grateful to have had the support of @Okku , an incredible collector with a wealth of knowledge about casino chips. @Okku has generously shared his expertise with me, and I am forever thankful for his guidance on my journey to complete my set.
My attempt of collecting a full set of Eldorado Casino chips has been a rewarding experience thus far, and I am excited to continue adding to my collection.
I hope that my love for these beautiful and unique chips will inspire others to start their own collections, or to simply appreciate the history and artistry that goes into each and every one.
Thank you for reading about my passion for collecting Eldorado Casino chips. I look forward to sharing more of my journey with you in the future.
If you have any leads or looking to sell, please let me know. Would be more than happy to discuss or talk more about this collection.

Favorite Chip Thus Far (1970s): The D1985 version of the Eldorado Non-Negotiable $1 Casino Chip was the first generation of this type of chip. It was used in the Reno, Nevada, Eldorado Casino and featured a bright red color. The $ sign on this chip was unique, with two lines instead of the single line found on the later generation chips. The denomination of this chip was also stamped as $1, rather than $1.00 like the later generation chips. Shown here--------------> <------ Shawn Here: The N5751 version of the Eldorado Non-Negotiable $1.00 Casino Chip was the second generation of this chip. It retained the same features as the first generation chip, but had some minor changes. The design of the $ sign was different and the spacing between the $1.00 and the Casino name and location was smaller. The back of the chip also had some differences from the first generation chip. The N5751.C version of the Eldorado Non-Negotiable $1.00 Casino Chip was the third generation of this chip. It had the same features as the second generation chip, but was not hot stamped on the back like the previous versions. This version of the chip was also used in the Reno, Nevada. All three versions of this chip are now obsolete and are no longer used in casino play.
The Eldorado No Cash Value Casino Chip in orange is a vibrant and eye-catching chip that is sure to catch the attention of collectors and casino enthusiasts. It is made of a bright orange clay and (4) green inserts that is easily distinguishable from other chips. The mold type of this chip is a House Mold, which was made for the casino in the 1990s. The chip features a Gold Hot Stamp, which gives it another luxurious feature. This chip is one of four colors with similar designs, with the others being Dark Grey, Yellow, and Green. This potentially opens the door for collectors to create an "Eldorado Set" featuring all four colors. Overall, the Eldorado No Cash Value Casino Chip in orange holds a current spot in my ideal "Set".
