Why Does This Keep Happening To Me? (3 Viewers)

You’ve clearly not been to this game. :ROFLMAO:
I definitely have not. I should point out that in my game, my wife deals, my 14 year old plays, so I’m going to error on the side of caution every time. In my 20s, I had players pass out face down into the table and we didn’t gaf, at all. 🤣🤣

It's a game-ender, I'm cashing out. Maybe I'm biased, as we all know I am a mysophobe.

At 70, this dude has an issue. If it's not intentional, then he doesn't have control of his facilities and is not to blame per se, but then it's on you for letting him play. If he is in control and made the choice, then he is getting off literally on you. I'm not a sub, and I'm not judging, but players won't really fade that kind of action.

Brother! You deserve some flame! for not knowing, come on, dude, you have to protect your players the best you can. Shit happens, and you ask Why does this keep happening to me? Make Good decisions!! You can't ask if the dude should stay, and why does it happen to me all in the same thread!

Do I disinvite him?

Does this get a little grace or nah?

Just when I was thinking of looking for a home game to join. I think I'll drive 90 min to a casino.

How in the absolute F did this happen? Dude would been kicked out, mocked, teased ridiculed and in no way shape or form even think about showing his face (or anything else) again.

I’m pretty sure you will be subjecting yourself to much worse at a casino…maybe.

the second time it was relatively clear.
This statement is subliminally hysterical given the conversational context.

@MrCatPants, you should seriously consider setting a a web site with a pay-to-view live video feed. Or create and distribute a bizarre reality show around your game.

but having been around 2 grandparents with dementia, I understand that things aren’t always the way they seem with older people.
This was the first thing that came to mind for me.
Do you know his family? Maybe you should talk to them and see if they have noticed this behavior too.

I’m having trouble understanding how everyone just carried on playing…
100% this. Eeeewww. I am with Machine on this one.

Regardless of all that, its time to skip inviting him.
It's not fair to any of you to have to wonder if he is going to do it again.

I have a different, but similarly bizarre, problem at my games: the players can't stop sucking each other off.

It starts out inconspicuously. A player makes a speculative flop call - with a gutshot, bad flush draw or bottom pair - and again on the turn. But then the river comes - and the sucking off begins.

Now, we all want a friendly game, and I'm not going to talk strategy at the table. It's their money, they can play the chips how they see fit. But sometimes, the constant sucking off can get on certain players' nerves.

"How could you call there? your hand is garbage. you have barely any outs to improve" they'll say.

"Sorry man," the other player will reply. "I just really wanted to suck you off. No hard feelings?"

Has anyone else dealt with this?

+1 my skepticdar is up on this one. There is no way this should have gone unnoticed before the moment.

On the off chance this is true, once should have been enough to cash this guy out and send him home. No excuse for letting it happen more than once, period.
