If he found out? Definitely not a chipperShe said they were from her husband’s poker set and he would be mad if he found out!
Sometime chips are cancelled by notched, stamped, or drilled.
I would take drilled chips all day every day, compared to what they do to decommissioned Vegas chips now. Those with weak constitutions should look away when they get to the chip shredding section:
And Imagine if people started drilling off the real Paulson inlays, and replaced them with stickers!!!
Either casino complying wirh laws
Or geniuses making key chains
Back in the day you have to wonder how many shops got COOL chips for souvenirs and said hey why not key chains
Who knows how many Z grade Chips got drilled back in the day knowing nothing

People here have reported playing with drilled chips, like entire racks, and said that you don’t even notice. I’m sure I’d notice, but given the choice, I guess I’d rather play with chips with holes in them than chips filled with spackle or bondo.some of the CHEAP arrowdie $5 binions chips that all got drilled Id honestly find a filler and plug the
holes and throw them in the cash set if they were the nicer color ones. If you can find them like a buck
a chip and make them look not as bad for a rack of chips in your game.... why not.
I found some Binions ArrowDie $5s but they were the worst color so I didnt do it but I think if you got the right color clay or a good filler and color matched it then did a very careful job it might come out ok. or a colored hot glue so its not so blatant with a good match color. I wanted to try it just if I could perfect a process that looks overall better but the color they had was so MEH I didnt want toPeople here have reported playing with drilled chips, like entire racks, and said that you don’t even notice. Yah if you could turn it to near powder and make a kind of filler putty. In theory you could sacrifice 1 chip and heat it up and use pieces of it to fill the holes of the other chips.
Pure guessing but maybe one chip can fill 30 holes?
someone try this and get back to me with their results

I wouldn't try patching a drill hole with heated material -- sounds like a great way to add heat and warp the base chip, and I doubt hot clay will adhere to cold clay in any case.In theory you could sacrifice 1 chip and heat it up and use pieces of it to fill the holes of the other chips.

They drilled the edge of the chip on the moldSeems like the perfect scenario for a relabel, whether refilled or not.
