In our game we sometimes mix in some Stud7 hi/lo later in the evening. Hated it at first, but starting to enjoy it.
Oh and then for circus games at the very end of the night…

Deal each player 1 up and 2 down.

We often play the game High/Low to create more action.
It can't be played with more than 6 players unless there is a lot of betting and raising and folding.

O/8: 2s, 8s, One-Eyed Jacks, Suicide Kings, diamonds and all black cards are wild.
It's usually deal 5 down (sometimes just 4 cards @pltrgyst), pre-flop betting/discard on action, burn and deal flop.
I've also occasionally seen simultaneous discards after pre-flop betting is completed, but I've never seen Scrotum played with post-flop discards. That sorta turns it into a nut-peddler game while removing the tough pre-flop decisions.

Crazy is discard post flop betting. Lazy is discard before showdown. These play better as Scrotum8 but all of it can get nut-peddley for sure.

This is some list. You could introduce a new game a week for years. I think that Hold'em has a lot of variations of the double flop. I think I'll try Oklahoma.
