It's usually deal 5 down (sometimes just 4 cards @pltrgyst), pre-flop betting/discard on action, burn and deal flop.Do you discard pre- or post-flop?
My regular group discard pre-flop by default (unless we call Crazy Scrotum) but I know others default is post-flop.
Been calling the game I made up, Shared Custody 8, more recently.
Crazy is discard post flop betting. Lazy is discard before showdown. These play better as Scrotum8 but all of it can get nut-peddley for sure. It's usually deal 5 down (sometimes just 4 cards @pltrgyst), pre-flop betting/discard on action, burn and deal flop.
I've also occasionally seen simultaneous discards after pre-flop betting is completed, but I've never seen Scrotum played with post-flop discards. That sorta turns it into a nut-peddler game while removing the tough pre-flop decisions.
2 or 5 PLO8 with a draw played big and fun all weekend at DiD!
This is some list. You could introduce a new game a week for years. I think that Hold'em has a lot of variations of the double flop. I think I'll try Oklahoma.https://www.pokerchipforum.com/resources/abby99s-mixed-game-cards.45/
Download these and enjoy. My players love scarney and drawmaha.
