You can also ask local casinos and card rooms if they'll train you.
where would you recommend?
sometimes the casino has them in house but places like Vegas have separate schools for them.

Like everything you could pay for the training yourself then get a job, or you could apply and receive training from your employer however will possibly have to sign a term of employment contract in lieu of the cost of the training. Then once your contract is up you will be fully trained and experienced able to look for bigger/better opportunities.

In the UK the casinos tend to train their own dealers, who then go off on their own and freelance for big comps etc. its a shame you cant earn qualifications with varying levels of mastery.
