It's a constant struggle at my house, fight over the thermostat.

What temperature do you keep your house, during the winter?

I mean, I don't need to wear shorts when there is snow on the ground. But I don't think I should have to wear socking hat, scarf, and mittens in my house either!!

What's the temp set at, at your house?

68 to 70 in the winter and 74 to 78 in the summer.

The house is very drafty during the late fall and winter so if the heat is set at 70, its more like 64 in the bedrooms and laundry room.

67 to 71 in the winter, varies time of day
65 to 70 in the summer (sometimes higher depending on if we shut it off to get fresh air)

Winter: 66 day, 64 night.
Summer: 76 day, 74 night.

We used to keep our nighttime temps during the winter lower at 62, but with 2 young kids in the house whose rooms don't heat as well as ours we had to up it a bit.

72 year round, day and night.

I try to turn it down at night to make it more comfortable to sleep but my wife is constantly checking it. She claims it is for the kids, but it is what she likes.
