Are they real / fake China clays ?????
I can’t tell I just assume there fake but what are the yellow chips ‘?
The compression clay Pharaoh's Club chips produced by Paulson (three versions) are an entirely different animal than the (much cheaper) injection-molded china clay version.
The Paulson originals were produced for the home market on the Paulson Chips house mold in seven denominations (25c, $1, $5, $25, $100, $500, and $1000), and later also made using the Paulson card pips (suits) mold, with both the original denominated inlays and no-denom inlay sets being produced on the latter (all Pharaoh's Club chips sharing the same base colors and edgespot colors and pattern). They all typically sell today for between $2-$3 per chip. Many chippers are not very fond of the home market Paulson Chips mold, and tend to prefer the Top Hat & Cane (THC) and Reverse Hat & Cane (RHC) casino molds instead.
The china clay versions were produced on a unique Pharaoh's Club mold (with different pattern markings on each side), in similar colors as the originals but using different spot patterns, plus 5c and $5000 denomination chips were added to the lineup. The chips have grand size adhesive labels, and they typically sell today for 30c-45c per chip.
China clays (Pharaoh's, Milano, Majestic, Dunes, etc.) are not casino-quality chips, and are priced accordingly.
