Need some help from some experts! What do I have here and what are they worth???

After doing a little research they look like a brand called Paulson but do not know anything else. Seem old. TOTAL 375 chips. “MGC” logo or initials on the back side. Maybe a casino or someone’s name? 45 Black ($100), 85 Green ($25), 245 Red ($5).

Thanks in advance

Yes, these appear to be Paulson chips intended for the home market. They are going to be worth more than other sorts of chips aimed at the home market.

"old" doesn't mean valuable.

Condition is so/so. Not grossly worn down from use but clearly used. The chips look warped and suffer from some other types of damage.

Not enough chips to entice someone to buy them up intending to relabel the chips for their own purpose. Any set with a count much under 500 will be hard to find a buyer for. Also, if the counts aren't round lots of 100 chips per color, this will also degrade value.

Not vintage casino chips. No edge spots. No tempting / unique colors.

On a lucky day, these would find a buyer looking for exactly what you have. Solid color chips, in traditional colors ready for a relabel project. Most of the time, a set like this is going to languish unless priced very aggressively - could easily sit unsold for months.

I suspect $1/chip is at the tippy-top of the likely sales price. It all depends on how fast you want to sell. Classified ads are free here, so you could try out a price and see what happens.

Agree with the above posts but will add that the chips look heavily worn (based on your pics), so even 80 cents per is probably too optimistic.

I’m certainly not an expert, but I’d guess closer to 50 cents per.

Given the smallish quantity and worn condition, I don’t think $1/chip is realistic.

The breakdown is also a little tough. Not really suitable for much except a six-max 5/10 limit game or a tiny tournament maybe.

You might be able to get $250 for the set on a good day.

See, for example, this lot of 300 green hotstamps in similar condition @ $170 (57¢ each):

A light cleaning (dish soap, warm water and toothbrush) could help make them more enticing. If the hotstamps fade more, stop cleaning!

Another option might be to acquire a couple racks of some similarly worn white solid THC hotstamps so that it works better as a full ring 1/2 cash set.

Sorry not to have more optimistic news.

i think the basic general colors might fetch you $0.60/chip....its hard to sell these colors because they're so common
