Webster Farm CPC Mockups (1 Viewer)

Just want to voice an option that I really really like the $1 as-is. In fact, your original $.50 through $10 were great and I wouldn’t mess with them.

Thanks :) I also like the $1 and its assymetry, and am keeping it.

Order finalized and check sent off!

Here’s the final breakdown:
$0.50: 210
$1: 410
$5: 410
$10: 105
$20: 105
$50: 105
Bounty: 40
Non-Denom: 40

I’ll be working on finalizing the inlays over the next couple of weeks, and ETA on the new chips is January!

deleted... I had some breakdown advice... but then re read your post and noticed the order was finalized and check sent... NM.

Blue $10 is nice. I like the 3rd revision going back to the Green $20 rather than the Grey $20. I would have been afraid that the Grey $20 would be too similar color wise to the $1.

I would definitely be in for a sample set if you offer them.

 :whistling:

Have you bounced that inlay off of CPC? That fine line at the edge might be tricky depending on their process. Everything looks great!

The inlay is still a work in progress, it sounds like I've got a few weeks to finalize them-- @Johnny5 mentioned the same thing to me this morning. I'm going to check in with David on that, and try some alternatives, I just needed to get the chip colors/patterns/quantities locked in for the upcoming run.

I learned that the H-Mold is going in next month, then not again for a while

Is there like a schedule posted somewhere with this information? I've seen a couple members talk about this, but I can't find the info.

I added 20 sample sets to the order. Just don't try to sneak them into my game-- at 6'6" and built like a linebacker, I'm my own bouncer ;-)

Many of the folks who comment about mold pressing schedules have either placed orders or have been in touch with David by email about the schedule. It seems that David also posts occasionally with information about upcoming pressings and asking that if anyone has designs to submit for a particular mold that they get them in. There is no "schedule," as I understand it, other than estimates based on how many chips are in the queue on the molds between now and when a particular mold is scheduled to run.

For example, I have an add-on FDL order that I have recently submitted to CPC. The FDL mold is currently pressing orders that were submitted before CPC's cutoff for this run (which I think was end of August/early September), and I already know that my new order won't be run until probably April or so (best estimate). But I know that between now and then CPC will be running (at minimum) H-mold, HHR, CSQ, DSQ, E&C, and now small crown and large crown. And if there is a greater-than-expected rush of orders on any of those molds, it will throw off the estimates and push back the next FDL run even more.

Nice work man! Chips and inlay look great. In for samples if there are any available.

I would be interested in about 100 of the $50 chips as "samples". Let me know if that will work and if you have a seat open ;)

These look great! I would love a sample set if there is one still available.

FWIW I'm in Kansas and never been to Maine, I will be some day but that means the wife will be in tow.....so no poker.:D

With my chips in hand, I'd like to say my favorite is the $50, with the $20 a close second.

It's interesting to see the colors, compared to what I see on screen. In real life, the $50 and $20 are close to a perfect match, whereas the Dayglo Arc Yellow bounty is much more vivid, and the Blue $10 is closer to Blurple than Imperial Blue.

Such an awesome set. The inlay and colors all just work great.
Totally digging the $10 and the blue/orange 1/4 pie.
Well f*cking done with this set. I just hope when I eventually do a custom set, it turns out half this nice.

Got mine too. Huge props to @swh for a great set.

My favorite chip is the $0.50. Very clean, and the bee is my favorite inlay.

Does the amount of texture on everyone else's vary from chip to chip? For example, the $50 inlay is very textured, almost like a file, but the $10 inlay is almost completely smooth.

Sorry, couple more questions.

1. I see in your first post that you'd already done most of the design before contacting an artist. Is that true? If so, how'd you get started? Would you recommend this path?
2. Any advice for people who eventually want to do customs? Anything you regret?

I did all my own art and design for my custom ceramics, and I don't regret nuthin'. I'll eventually be doing this for my roulette chips and table felt, too.

I did not notice that until now. Some are smooth, some are textured. The $5 is half-n-half.
