Viva...Viva...Las Armory Club! (2 Viewers)

Very, very nice Scott...I had forgotten all about these when you shared the concept long ago. Well executed and delivered just in time for lock down pron and oil. Let's hope the assembly line keep rolling and things at CPC keep coming.

I see what you did there

What an amazing set you created. You picked the best of the best, made it your own and still left it iconic. Hats off to you, Johnny and David for the collaboration of the year. This set will go down in chip history. Thank you for making them and thank you for making samples available.

Coming from you, that’s very high praise indeed! Thank you very much...glad you enjoy them!

(If you had the NCC hundo in that side-by-side, I‘d have lost my shit...)

Dayum.

I’m amazed how close the colors actually are!

Congrats, it’s a gorgeous set. What’s the breakdown of the CPC colours for each chip?

@Psypher1000 what's your breakdown? Is it as per the pics?

25c x 100
$1 x 200
$2.50 x ???
$5 x 200
$25 x 60
$100 x 40

Fabulous looking set. Love your and courage's mixed casino CPC sets!

Thanks for the comments! I’d be lying if I said @courage ’s set wasn’t part of the impetus for this one. I was a big fan of his H mold tributes as soon as they debuted and certainly let him know as much. I also reached out to him for a consult before I dove into this thing to absorb any lessons he might have learned making his tributes. I don’t think it was too long after that when Spragg announced the s-crown mold. There are a number of great quarter pie chips TRK put out on that mold, many of which are primarily made of unobtanium, so a tribute set seemed in order.

The playable set is 100/200/200/60/40. For the snappers I orders 10 and think I received 16. So it’s on the smallish side for a set, but plenty enough bank for a single table .25/.50 game.

The set was kept small for a few reasons, with money, storage space, and “Do I REALLY need another cash set???” being considerations. Possibly the biggest factor, though, was trying to be respectful of the originals and those that collect them. There’s only one known example of that hundo out in the wild and fortunately it’s in the hands of a hundreds collector. Our own @41Pickup continues to piece together his Trop set like a focused, determined ultramarathoner. Not to mention all the small crown singles collectors out there. Those things take time, money, and a little luck to put together, and I didn’t want to disrespect those (nor risk devaluing the originals in any way) by simply fabricating a glut of pastiches that might not be used. Nope, I just needed enough to suit my basic needs and desires. That’s also the reason that samples were kept to a minimum compared to my other sets.

So yeah...nothing too exorbitant, but she’ll do what she needs to do.
