Hey thanks sir. Does this seem about right for Paulson Pharaohs:
$12/chip for 25 cent blue
$7/chip for $1 white
$6/chip for $5 red
$7/chip for $25 green
$8.50/chip for $100 black
$12/chip for $500 purple
$10/chip for $1000 yellow
$25/plaque for $5000 plaques
$110/plaque for $25000 plaques
$12/chip for 25 cent blue
$7/chip for $1 white
$6/chip for $5 red
$7/chip for $25 green
$8.50/chip for $100 black
$12/chip for $500 purple

Each and every Paulson will have a different price.
Just read and ask. Finding the price range isn’t too tough, finding the actual chips is much tougher. Good luck!

This is the least expensive option readily available.
If you don’t care about the finer details and price is a concern this a good option.
You could wait around to find it at slightly lower prices on here but anything significantly lower will get snapped up very quickly. And if you were to sell at a later point you can generally expect to sell at a price slightly lower than retail (apaches price).
That's way, way too high. Somebody else on here with more knowledge of that line of chips will be able to give you a much better ballpark figure per chip.
If you are wanting to buy a set of Pharaohs, looking at pricing of per-chip or per-denomination sales on eBay is not that helpful. Should be more like $4-$5 per chip for a full set. But honestly it is hard to pin down because Pharaohs don't come up for sale that often and prices for Paulson have gone up quite a bit during the pandemic.

Those prices seem absolutely insane to me! Some say that Paulson Classics and 05 CDIs are less desirable than the Pharaohs. I disagree but in comparison I have been buying the 05 CDIs for 3 years now. Pharaohs go a bit higher in some cases but I would say $4 - $5 per chop max! The plaques are not made by Paulson but they do bring top dollar. I would say $20 - $25 per plaque.
I paid up to $4.50 per chip for my $1ks, up to $4.25 for my $500s and $100s down were $3.00 - $3.50
Many of the Folks that have the Pharaohs love them and aren't likely to let them go, but if you are patient you can find them, definitely for less than the prices listed above.

For those Pharaohs, I did strike a deal w the person for 100 x $1; 100 x $5 and 10 x $25 for $5.25/chip. Next time I will shoot for around $4-5/chip
Hey thanks Ben. I really appreciate the feedback from you and everyone here. I guess I should have posted this question first before getting a few but I was new to this site and the whole process a few weeks ago.

And as far as plaques... sure you can pay absurd prices IF you can find them... but why? Hire a designer and make your own for $5 each from @BR Pro Poker or like I did go custom Octagons for $1.50 each. Always other ways

I did sell one rack buddy and my cases hold 2,100 chips each. It is tilting in that picture but I assure you in cases where they live they look fantastic!
When did you get a humongous set of CDIs? I've never seen this picture before!

I hope you are joking my friend. I have posted it all over the forum, suprised the file still works! Lol. Took 3 years to build that monster and with the next expansion it is going to finally be complete. Built for the Ohio meet up, but it is my go to set for larger games

As to the original question, yeah, that price seems way too high. Even though chip prices went through the roof in the past couple of years, those prices still seem at least twice as high as they should be.

I wouldn't pay half that for the Pharaohs. Not even close.
Stacked 3 deep? Do the racks just stack on top of each other or is there something between racks as well? One of the UK chippers found these cases available in the UK in a recent post so considering getting a couple. Sorry for going slightly off topic op.

I did get him down to about $5.25/chip but still felt pretty high. They are really nice and I wanted to buy more. Glad I posted the question first.
