if they did sell to the home market the price they sell at would be higher than starbursts currently sell at so probably wouldn’t hurt them much if at all. I don’t see them selling under $2 a chip and maybe even as high as $3 a chip for basic stuff.

It would tank other areas though. Like spotted thcs. These things sell for 5$+ a chip because of scarcity. Desirable colors would be hit the hardest.

But it all depends on exactly what they offer and ar what price point.

Also assume THCS being leaded will help hold its value

Even if Paulson were to re-enter the home market with THC mold, there would still be arguments over “old THC” vs. “new THC”.

Demand and pricing would likely remain high for the “old”, lead or no lead.

That's if they even offered the THC mold.

When GPI last sold to the home market, my understanding is that they phased out custom chips first and sold stock designs on special house molds for the home market, like the mold on the NPSs. (not my picture)

If Paulson was to return to the home market in some capacity, it's quite possible they'd reserve the THC and RHC molds for casino use only in order to protect their more-important customers security-wise, and only offer house molds to consumers. Even CPC technically has molds that are exclusive to casinos like the Ewing and Roulette molds. Not too sure was when the last time either of those actually got put in though.

Arc yellow is one of the few colors that usually goes at a premium compared to most others. While i wouldn't have bought these myself, $4/chip for them is actually a decent deal in todays market.

As much as I liked the set, just don't have a need for the unmarked yellows. Also, didn't want to part with $5k lol. It did seem like they were in good condition. I better start winning some games so I can afford these lol.

And as far as plaques... sure you can pay absurd prices IF you can find them... but why? Hire a designer and make your own for $5 each from @BR Pro Poker or like I did go custom Octagons for $1.50 each. Always other ways

I did sell one rack buddy and my cases hold 2,100 chips each. It is tilting in that picture but I assure you in cases where they live they look fantastic!

Those prices seem absolutely insane to me! Some say that Paulson Classics and 05 CDIs are less desirable than the Pharaohs. I disagree but in comparison I have been buying the 05 CDIs for 3 years now. Pharaohs go a bit higher in some cases but I would say $4 - $5 per chop max! The plaques are not made by Paulson but they do bring top dollar. I would say $20 - $25 per plaque.

I paid up to $4.50 per chip for my $1ks, up to $4.25 for my $500s and $100s down were $3.00 - $3.50

Many of the Folks that have the Pharaohs love them and aren't likely to let them go, but if you are patient you can find them, definitely for less than the prices listed above.

That was far from a single haul... that was about two years of buying chips from all over the world to make that happen, and that picture was old. We had two top end add ons this year to solidify the T100 base that many are running now and can even run T1000 base... but then you are only using the original $1000 a d the whole point of this set is to focus around the original 05 Paulsons

No changes to the left side, our Apache 4800 cases hold 2,100 chips each so 2 cases is perfect. We can cover 60 players of 16/16/12/12/1 starting stacks or up to 83 players of 12/12/7/9/2. That is more than we should ever need, and now the set goes up to 1 Mil with the custom MSK plaques.

Just finished fitting the 4th case yesterday. 100% finished on our 05 CDI journey... well tourney side anyways, cash set still need some help but no rush.
