UPDATE!! Drumhoss (1 Viewer)

Given enough time to make good on all his outstanding debts? Probably not.
Given enough time to contact all his victims and discuss plans for restitution? Yes.

Drumhoss, if you’re reading, suck it up and face your unpleasant task. Start communicating with people individually. Make plans for repayment that are realistic for you. And start paying.
He’s a vendor..I don’t know why you are backing him at all.

Obviously someone has a line of communication with him that prompted him to make the general posts claiming things are going to change. We will probably get another post here in a few days talking about needing more (vague amounts of) time to start making thing right but alas no real action or direct communication with any/all of the people that he is "holding" money for.

I’m not backing him. Let me be clear. So far, he’s screwed a bunch of people. His post here from a couple of weeks ago is nice, but talk is cheap.
My point was just that if he owes thousands of dollars, 2 weeks isn’t a reasonable amount of time to expect him to repay.

Yes but the point is that 2 weeks is ample time to reach out to those involved.

Deleted, I didn't see a relevant post on the first page.

That's not what you said. Maybe it's what you meant, but there's a huge difference between paying people back in two weeks and reaching out ton contact them in two weeks.

Looks like that’s exactly what he said to me.

If I was a vendor and owed thousands to my customers..2 weeks would be ample time to get it.

ehh, probably not. I mean, I don't think he has a company with assets and such. There were many a times where I couldn't get thousands of dollars in a few weeks.. or even in a few months sometimes. Especially if things happened in which most of the cash on hand was liquidated.

Well unless he took the money and blew it at the tables, then yes he should. It’s not like he is producing product or purchasing supplies w/ cash.

I think it's almost certain that the money is gone (whether at the tables or on other things is unknown).

I really hoped that some action would follow after his latest promises. But it’s again all and nothing in his words. No time frame, no refunds, nothing you can count on.
If sb is able to help me to file charges, please pm.
Meanwhile I will contact all casinos and tell them about their customer drumhoss. Maybe they are interested in his business?! Doesn’t he also commit tax evasion?!. He had a business but I suggest he never paid tax or sth like that. I spent so much time and money in this deal that I really would like to get some satisfaction in any possible way, in a pinch: revenge.

I'd just chalk it up to lesson learned... never use friends and family and don't prepay for chips. We are not going to see a dime back. Casinos won't care either... they have bigger things to deal with

Probably worthwhile to keep an eye on the NV obits. If he treats his friends in Vegas like he treats them here, it's not unlikely he'll wind up in an alley somewhere or dumped in the desert.

I can always fire off another message to his (assumed) family member

Not sure if added pressure will help right now. If he is dealing with a serious situation, we don't want to push the guy over the edge.

And, in fairness, he did indicate in the OP that making things right is "going to take time."

...unfortunately this is going to take time to make everything right and will have to work on each case at a time.

If he really is in a bind, pushing him harder might not yield the desired results. It's only been two weeks... I'm up for giving him at least a couple more to try and handle a couple of the outstanding orders he has on his backlog.

Yeah that's why I haven't done anything thus far. But as everyone said, it would be nice to have some contact with him and have him start slowly repaying people so we know he's actually working on it
