Hopefully you didn’t wait too long and did goods and services. Should be a permanent ban on him.
He’s a vendor..I don’t know why you are backing him at all.Given enough time to make good on all his outstanding debts? Probably not.
Given enough time to contact all his victims and discuss plans for restitution? Yes.
Drumhoss, if you’re reading, suck it up and face your unpleasant task. Start communicating with people individually. Make plans for repayment that are realistic for you. And start paying.

I’m not backing him. Let me be clear. So far, he’s screwed a bunch of people. His post here from a couple of weeks ago is nice, but talk is cheap. He’s a vendor..I don’t know why you are backing him at all.
Yes but the point is that 2 weeks is ample time to reach out to those involved.I’m not backing him. Let me be clear. So far, he’s screwed a bunch of people. His post here from a couple of weeks ago is nice, but talk is cheap.
My point was just that if he owes thousands of dollars, 2 weeks isn’t a reasonable amount of time to expect him to repay.
Yes. Which is exactly what I said.Yes but the point is that 2 weeks is ample time to reach out to those involved.
Not exactly so I restatedYes. Which is exactly what I said.

That's not what you said. Maybe it's what you meant, but there's a huge difference between paying people back in two weeks and reaching out ton contact them in two weeks.
Looks like that’s exactly what he said to me.
If I was a vendor and owed thousands to my customers..2 weeks would be ample time to get it.
ehh, probably not. I mean, I don't think he has a company with assets and such. There were many a times where I couldn't get thousands of dollars in a few weeks.. or even in a few months sometimes. Especially if things happened in which most of the cash on hand was liquidated.
Well unless he took the money and blew it at the tables, then yes he should. It’s not like he is producing product or purchasing supplies w/ cash.
Probably worthwhile to keep an eye on the NV obits. If he treats his friends in Vegas like he treats them here, it's not unlikely he'll wind up in an alley somewhere or dumped in the desert.
I can always fire off another message to his (assumed) family member
...unfortunately this is going to take time to make everything right and will have to work on each case at a time.
Yeah that's why I haven't done anything thus far. But as everyone said, it would be nice to have some contact with him and have him start slowly repaying people so we know he's actually working on itNot sure if added pressure will help right now. If he is dealing with a serious situation, we don't want to push the guy over the edge.
And, in fairness, he did indicate in the OP that making things right is "going to take time."
If he really is in a bind, pushing him harder might not yield the desired results. It's only been two weeks... I'm up for giving him at least a couple more to try and handle a couple of the outstanding orders he has on his backlog.
Sorry, but It still feels like a bad beat and I don’t like being sucked out.
