The other day I ran my first poker game using Ultimate Holdem Timer for my poker clock. Can't recommend it enough!

They just introduced several massive upgrades, allowing much versatility in your tournament, all with a user-friendly interface.

The many templates they offer for the tournament clock include the basic Wynn clock, and newly introduced is the WSOP Triton clock.

If The Tournament Director is either too dense, or out of your price range, Ultimate Holdem Timer is a free option, and one to check out!

Can you create a tournament in n a computer in advance and run it off an iPad? Or share it across devices to operate (not view)

Can you set this up to display across multiple devices in sync?

I believe both of these are among the new features added. @JackJack, it's web based, so you can pull it up on an iPad in the web browser. I believe the only trick is you have to create a file of the tournament on your computer, and bring that file over to your iPad. I did it by emailing it to myself.

UHT has its own subreddit, and the creator is very active adding new features at people's suggestion.

UHT subreddit.

Does it handle seating assignments and table movements as players bust out?

I’ve been spending some time on the Reddit and watching YouTube videos… this looks incredible. Unreal it is free.

+1 for UHT...I used it for my meetup last year, it's excellent and the dev is a great guy and really helpful

This is pretty unreal for being free. Super slick design with lots of options for customization. Will definitely be recommending this to my TD at our next meet up. Only thing I could imagine being better about it is an offline version, which I might have just missed.

It is built to be used offline per the developer on Reddit.

Looks cool. It probably won't be free forever. Blind Valet for example started out as free and started limiting options unless you paid. I still use blind valet occansionally because I know how to calculate chip distributions and such.

Hosting costs money, so I expect a charge for it at some point. I do like the options and customization options. I'm having an odd issue with the voice option, though. Manually created blinds have "thousand" added after the small blind in the announcement, so 100/200 is "one hundred thousand, two hundred". I'll try it on a different machine to see if it's a corrupted tournament, but our players do actually pay attention to those annoucements.

Going to use this tonight. I've already set up the tournament which was easy and straightforward. Looks good so far

Lots of new features added in the last week. Table management is implemented, and the display now supports embedding YouTube streams.

As predicted, advanced features will soon only be available with a paid plan, but it's still free for the meantime.

It worked really well last night running on my MacBook. Awesome while its free. I can't justify paying for it as we only play every 2-3 months.

checking this out tonight. looking good so far. Setting up my tounament went easy and I love this customizable Triton Clock

Awesome find and thanks for the post @Deucekies! We are thinking of hosting a small poker tournament and this will be perfect to project on the tv.

Meant to follow up this. I contacted the developer and worked with them on it. This appears to be an odd quirk with the Google voice engine. Avoiding the blinds variable and using the individual blind variables combined with words between them is a way to work around it.

Latest update includes new coding options, allowing for much more streamlined designing. UHT still appears to be free for the time being.

New features now include real-time chip tracking.

As was previously intimated, UHT is no longer completely free. However all features are still available for free for tournaments up to ten players. Beyond ten players requires a paid license.

Thank you for the update. Sadly I had to transition away and the past two months it hasn’t worked for me. But hopefully July’s game will be better

I used the timer a couple Saturdays ago. Everyone was impressed. I will have to look and see what it costs. Thank you.

After looking at the website and watching some of the YouTube videos, this looks like a possible timer/TD solution

@Deucekies , did you try using the multi-monitor feature? (My TVs are all Rokus, so I don’t have a browser to get it onto my TVs)

I have not tried it yet. I suspect I'm gonna need Sebastian to walk me through that.

Bumping this thread as UHT 2.0 was just released. It's free & has many major improvements over 1.0

This is Tournament Director level of features but a much easier interface (back end & front end). The ability to control the tournament from my phone is priceless!

The creator is extremely responsive to questions, as well. He's active on Reddit and will hopefully be active on PCF - I know he's gathered feedback/suggestions from many PCF members.
