Nickel chips are dope.
Who makes these and are they CC.? I bought my first pharaoh cc set brand new and I don’t remember them being as sharp edged as these .
There are actually five different versions of the Dunes chips:
Both TCR chip offerings have 'Commemorative" on the labels. The Apache version does not.
- 39mm compression molded clay chips with true shaped inlays, produced by Paulson on the Dunes house mold
- 43mm compression molded clay chips with round inlays for Baccarat games, produced by Paulson on the Dunes house mold
- 39mm 10g china clay chips with oversize round labels and varying spot patterns, introduced by TheChipRoom (who owns the rights to the Dunes artwork)
- 39mm 9g injection-molded plastic chips with faux-shaped labels and a single spot pattern, also introduced by TheChipRoom
- 39mm 10g china clay chips with oversize round labels and updated colors/spot patterns, currently being sold by Apache Poker chips
The $500 also has a hard-to-see white-on-white hex-shaped label. As succinctly described a while ago by @BGinGA, there were five versions of these. I believe those listed for sale in this thread are the...
Also, as an FYI, not all of the denominations in the injection-molded plastic chip version had faux-shaped labels, just the $5, $25, $100 & $1000. All others were round, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $500, $5,000 & $25,000.

If these are the CC version, I'll offer $20. I'll relabel them as Cattery $20s.
If they're plastic... no thanks.

"You are on a poker chip site with enthusiast who will but premium chips not ones you can buy at Walmart". This literally word for word from a DM I received. There are a select few individuals who feel like plastic poker chips do not belong on "POKER CHIP forum". It's unfortunate because the only thing wrong with them is that they are slick if you play around with them. Oh, and you can buy them from walmart.I’ve learned from this thread that we don’t like the plastics..... ?
