Two Deck Snafu (2 Viewers)

We've been using shuffle behind for about 7 years and have never had this situation come up, not sure why since there is always quite a bit of drinking and smoking going on. lol

One time someone stumbled coming into my house. So now we have instituted a “carry in” policy where you are carried from your car to your seat so you can’t trip. Anybody else use a system like this or do you rely on common sense? We had thought about requiring feet amputations to eliminate this as well, but it was becoming harder and harder to find players.

A guy dropped his cards last game, and showed them and nearly ruining the entire season. We are looking into eliminating hands maybe to avoid this.

IMO, there is a much simpler (and much more intuitive) "solution" to your perceived problem.

Just place the cut card for the second deck on top of the deck, and leave it there (don't cut the deck) until the hand in progress is completely finished. No need for different size decks, oddball dealing procedures, or anything else..

But IMO, you seem to be in search for a complicated solution to a problem that really shouldn't exist very frequently (unless the alcohol/cannabis factor is unduly excessive).

I think the only solution is to buy more chips.

I think I'm right.

Just place it at my right elbow please. When I’m done dealing I’ll hand it to the SB. No need to put your 380lb head and torso in my personal space.
Nobody’s using it until I am done dealing, no matter how convenient you try to make it for the next dealer.
This is what I call deal ownership!
