Caesars is closing the Tunica Roadhouse Casino by the end of this month and I thought it be would a prime opportunity for a potential buyer to step up and buy the used casino chips at a low price. I attempted to reach out to the casino manager and see if there was an opportunity to purchase used inventory, as I was on hold I was fantasizing about the great potential of having a cool Paulson cash game set and turning a profit on the remaining chips, but apparently they have already shut down table games and destroyed the chips. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has often thought of stumbling upon some casino that is closing and is willing to part ways with their useless chips for pennies on the dollar but what I want to know is how do people come across those opportunities and capitalize on them? Is it all on who you know? Has anyone been successful in purchasing used chips just by calling the casino manager after a closing announcement is made? I think there is opportunity out there and I was hoping this forum would provide the tools to seize it.
