Caesars is closing the Tunica Roadhouse Casino by the end of this month and I thought it be would a prime opportunity for a potential buyer to step up and buy the used casino chips at a low price. I attempted to reach out to the casino manager and see if there was an opportunity to purchase used inventory, as I was on hold I was fantasizing about the great potential of having a cool Paulson cash game set and turning a profit on the remaining chips, but apparently they have already shut down table games and destroyed the chips. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has often thought of stumbling upon some casino that is closing and is willing to part ways with their useless chips for pennies on the dollar but what I want to know is how do people come across those opportunities and capitalize on them? Is it all on who you know? Has anyone been successful in purchasing used chips just by calling the casino manager after a closing announcement is made? I think there is opportunity out there and I was hoping this forum would provide the tools to seize it.
Who bought those Tunica Roadhouse chips and how did you do it?

@inca911 did it...as well as multiple vendors on the site here. I think it mostly amounts to timing and getting in touch with the right people.

Sounds like @inca911 is the right person to know. I would like to hear how they got them and if they plan to move some on here. From what I saw online the chips look great.

Yeah I went in to the casino over a month ago and it was a damn ghost town. No chips, no table games etc. This was the day or so after the announcement. I was planning on picking up a few racks/singles for PCF but yeah all gone. They are having a closing party/drawing on the last night in a few weeks and honestly I'll be next door and probably won't even walk over as it'd be a waste of time away from my poker game.

Tunica has changed a lot for sure...the place was once thriving... not anymore. Too many more local options for everyone nowadays but at least there’s enough casino competition to keep things competitive down there for the time being.

I used to go to the World Poker Open. Jack Binion knew how to run a tournament
