After a bunch of samples and figuring buy once cry once I ordered a 320pc set of the rounders Csq. They felt the best to me and really liked the sound when on a table. Will add pics when they arrive!

I definitely plan on getting more. I'll keep an eye out for chips on here for sale. I’ll buy racks/barrels as they come up.

The machinery issue has been resolved. CPC is back up and running.

Don’t be discouraged when you see how dusty they are when they arrive. A quick wipe-down with a damp cloth will remove the manufacturing dust, and a tiny amount of mineral oil on the rolling edges will bring out the colors.

Will using them eventually take it all off? The samples seemed dusty but figured eventually after using them it came off

They arrived and we played the 5 of us to get the feel the dust/chalkiness is pretty insane as I expected but I’ll clean them up at some point. I’m assuming the edges will smooth out some as well? Wear in maybe a better word for it overall I love the set and will be collecting more as time goes
Also what are the best racks for these? I bought the $1 ones of discount poker and they don’t seem to fit quite right.

Agreed. I have 1700 CPC'S coming soon and have been weighing my options so I have read alot on this topic. Justin racks are apparently 50/50 on if they will fit unfortunately.

Was just reading through the comments on the thread and thought the same thing. They look amazing! But don’t want to order 10 and not be able to use. Do you have any other ones you’re looking at?

Actually I am going to buy the Justin racks and put my Paulsons in them and transfer my CPC'S into racks like you have for the time being. Down the road i would like to spend some $$$ to have a custom chest made for all my chips so it's a temporary solution to a long-term goal.

Thats how all new clay chips are. Use them regularly and they will break in.

Suggestion would be to buy double the Justin racks and just sell the ones that didn’t fit. Not the best but a possible solution.

I like the racks sold by @dennis63 via Key West Resort & Casino. Perfect fit for my CPC chips from Key West, however those are H mold. They are also the only CPC chips I own. Anyone noticed a difference between how different CPC molds fit into racks?

Edges are super sharp when you get them, but all new high quality clay chips are like that when you get them.

Get some oil one the edges and get them in play. You’ll start to feel the difference.

All new compression mold clay chips have very sharp edges when brand new as others have said. Unfortunately this sharpness makes them difficult to shuffle & a little less pleasant to handle at first.

Take a dozen chips and shuffle just that dozen chips a few hundred times. The edges will wear a bit and they will feel a lot better

I know racks sold by CPC / Key West fit the CPC chips better

The Alibaba / Justin Rack are too small to fit them for my CPC set

I think this is pretty much what everyone uses, only like $8.95 at your local CVS. A little bit goes a long long way. There is a thread all about oiling and how to do it.
