Long time my friend and hope all is going well. I stumbled upon this thread and thought maybe I could say a few words on Riviera Danny’s behalf. I’ve always known you to be a fair minded and reasonable person so maybe I could share some thoughts.
Speaking for myself I can say that Danny has always been a good guy toward me. He helped me out a lot toward the end of completing a couple of my really difficult to put together sets. He and I have become really good friends over the last few years and sometimes I guess it’s hard for me to understand what I feel is selective outrage around here over Danny.
To my knowledge, I don’t know of anyone that Danny has ripped off here or done any wrong to. As far as cap dash
Tina’s go, is making those and selling them for .50 cents a chip anymore an “asshole move” than manipulating GPI into making chips that flip for 6 or 7 times there cost? It’s not like anyone with just a little knowledge wouldn’t know the difference between a
Tina and a
TRK.
As far as Danny’s site goes, he got banned from here, didn’t like it and started his own.
I think a lot of folks are worried they’ll be frowned upon if they check out something different and actually like it.
I love Coke but occasionally I drink Pepsi also. Coke has never banned me from buying their product because of it.
No one will ever catch a ban at Danny’s site for having an opinion. I’m of the belief that if I’ve got a gripe, why not go directly to the source and explain how you feel.
Worse case, I think reasonable people can agree to disagree.
If having the ability to be open minded is going to be a stain put upon one by some people, that’s not Danny’s fault and maybe it’s those folks who should put a bigger question in one’s mind rather than Riviera Danny.
