How is the Barsmith old-fashioned mix? Do you add bitters?
I like it. I only use 1/2 of the recommended amount. Sometimes a bit more. You may want to add more bitters. It can be pretty sweet.

I like it much better with the soda. The grapefruit juice is a bit too tart for my taste.

This one's better (regular Manhattan). Perfectly balanced. Note the timing between cocktails

TBH I didn't even look I assumed, and I gotta support team Canada EH!
My favorite rye is Bulleit and it's rarely available up here. Lot 40 is at my local store and is comparable.
If I were a Canadian, I'd probably make my Manhattans with Alberta Premium.
