9 handed 1/2 NLHE with a table of players who like to see a lot of cheap flops. Afterwards pretty much fit or fold poker.
I have $375. Effective stacks $200-250

Folds to the hijack seat who calls. Button and SB both call. I call in the BB with :2c::7c:.

Pot = $8.

Flop: :3h::5h::2s:

Checked to hijack who bets $4. Everyone calls.

Pot = $24

Turn: :7s:

Checked to hijack who bets $6. Button and SB call. I raise to $30. Hijack pops it to $170. Folds to me.

I folded too.

Questioning whether I should have just called the $6 bet?

I don’t like hero’s check on the turn, but that’s not what you are asking. Given that hero checked, I’m assuming anticipating check-raising, I think hero’s raise was fine and sized well. I can’t speak on the hero’s fold without some knowledge of the villain.

Personally, I’d have rather seen hero bet the turn ($15-20).

I fold on the flip, lead turn and as played I fold as well
