Yeesh, that's brutal. I'll admit, I've sometimes wondered if wearing one of my nicer watches in public when out in Zurich makes me a target, but I've never been worried enough to not wear one. That said, I only took my Garmin Fenix watch with me on our extended family vacation this year - didn't feel like risking it between leaving a nice watch in vacation properties and or wearing one out and about in places like Barcelona.
