Hello from LA. I'm new and have a request. Does anyone know about a $0.25 cent chip stamped "The New Palace Casino" in Biloxi. Pic attached. Some info that I found related that there were only 8 in circulation? I think it sold on eBay for $80.

Glad you asked! Hoping to raise some awareness around this chip. The book, The Official Casino Chip Price Guide, claims that only 9 left the floor and then they were pulled off the casino floor and never seen again. This claim is outdated and untrue.

I have a few of these chips and a few other members also have a few. In addition, another member claims they have personally seen over a hundred.

My personal opinion is that there’s somewhere between 40-200 in the wild. This chip is still rare, but it’s NOT R8 rare. Hope this helps!
