The most epic finds ever? (1 Viewer)

This recent find was probably my greatest to date. (Was able to go back and find a few more racks from that source after this pic)

I think @softchewy bought a large PNY set from UK for about 50-70% of the current value by auction (seller was new) and a nice Mapes set from a French guy also for a very good price. I saw both sets, but didn’t have the funds or was about downsizing. Really regret this...

Maybe not the biggest but your 20th Century find was pretty sweet in my book!
Have to give initial credit for that one to @ChipEnvy (couga on CT), who found the huge set I used to play with at the underground Sugarloaf game on a police auction site years after it was busted and closed down. He eventually sold them all to the four corners of the earth, and I've merely been slowly reassembling it. :)

Right up there with the PNYs would have to be the Vineyard, Ritz, and Crystal Park. I don’t remember remember the exact timeline but those chips really lifted this hobby.

I still can't believe that I sold those 20th Century's. :vomit: Every time I see pics I get like a sick butterflies in my stomach feeling.

That was probably my best find. I also found the Aquasino's as well as the Maximillion house $5's. I was OK with selling the Aquasino's but the Max $5 still bother me. I also found a set of TRK Lrgcrowns, a set of Fabulous Las Vegas (Paulson's) and some other small finds like that.

I believe it was around 2006, that’s when I first started collecting and there were so many nice chips to choose from.

This probably isn't the most epic ever but back in 2011, jjcentral on chiptalk scored the Caribbean Poker Classic chipcos.
I think he found or bought a storage unit in Miami.

Wow, this brings back memories (jjbcentral from CT here, been a while since I was on the forum)!!!
I didn't get them all but I did get to play with all of them and walk away with 800 chips (sold the primary set and now thinking about selling the secondary set plus addons which is how I found this thread). The guy that bought the unit was a real piece of work. I found them on Craigslist.
My other big find, also on Craigslist, was the Aquasinos. I think 4000+ of those went through my house. I ended up with a 1300 piece set and now only have 100.

Going to get my Caribbean Poker Classics in play this Friday in a local game. I bought the secondary ones from you back in the CT days and they are still in great shape!

These were a pretty good find

About 5000 cash chips and another 6000 thc solids

I paid the seller 700 for the chips. Plus about another 1k to have people pick them up and get them home.

Definatley my best find to date. Cant wait to get home and get them all cleaned up and post some proper pron.

They are posted in another thread, but I think they deserve to be here too.
