Whats the "right" color for WTHC fracs? (2 Viewers)

Just wanted to get some takes on WTHC fracs... seems like many/most of the custom fracs I see are yellow. Have even heard of them referred to as the GOATs somewhere But then... the 1Ks are already yellow. Kind of curious why so many people picked yellow then. Feel like the purple hotstamp unicorns are one of the few that make sense for the set as a whole but then also.. what about white? Is it just that the label blends into the chip? Asking most pertinently since there's a few racks of white avalon floating around right now...

Yellows and purples were my only consideration. Didn’t like the white option. Fracs and 1k would never be on the table at the same time therefore, to me, the same base color was a non-issue. Thought the purple with blue $1s would be too similar so yellow it was. Plus that yellow Avalon is a banger GOAT chip.

What's tried and true for many other sets is that white or pink fracs pair very well with a blue $1. In this case you also have options for yellow and orange solids, and also yellow spotted. All of these can be milled for a WTHC label.

Interesting! They Yellow/Orange Avalon Club ones seem to fit the others nicely.

After kicking it around, I think most ideally and logically the white hot stamps would be my GOAT fracs. It's the only one that is a unique, unused color that also isn't too close in color and scheme to the 1s. But even those I'm sort of on the fence on, since (if I'm not mistaken) they were also custom ordered back when Paulson customs could be ordered at all, i.e. not part of the original WTHC lineup. In light of that, I feel like a labeled custom chip really isn't much of a replacement "hack" as much as it is a parallel alternative, plus then it's not inconsistently hot stamps/inlays mixed together in a single set.
