My 2011 one still sleeps in his box. I shall definitely find some time to build it.

The new one is too massive imho.

I need to whip out my classic space, castle, and gas station Lego sets. Hit them with peroxide and UV light. Then build them in their non-brominated glory.

Next builds :

And I'm sure you'll guess the next one (there are not so many castles with a blue baseplate and a ghost ;-) ) :

Growing up Gen X, I did many models. Cars, creatures and characters from horror and monster movies. Our nephew lives with us and does many Lego models (is that what they call them?). I may be inspired to do a model soon and possible even a Lego build. When I upgraded my poker cabinet sometime back, I passed on the previous, lighted cabinet to him to display his builds.

Fun stuff.

Always loved building as a kid. My kids are somewhat disinterested but I’ve built a couple things with them to test the waters.

Up house was destroyed by said kids and (mostly) rebuilt

The Game Boy was my Christmas present and has been placed out of reach from the time it was completed.

This was bought for my wife when it was on sale a couple years ago and probably won’t leave the box until we have somewhere to put it.

I've pulled the trigger on a 2nd hand Carribean Clipper, which was one of my dreamset as a child.

Can't wait to get it. I've started to make the inventory on my BrickLink account.

My half has never been into lego but seeing my sets made her want to build some. She now wants to buy the haunted house to have a fun shared activity for next Halloween season ahah.

I got it 2nd hand and few bricks (hopefully common ones) are missing. I'll order them on BrickLink for less than 1€.

What kind of glue is it and does it work well? My wife goes crazy with blocks that don't hold together.
It's solvent, toxic, hence outside job. Only doing it because things will get shipped around the world, I don't condone gluing household LEGO. #saynotokragle

Out of curiosity, is it actual LEGO or another brand of bricks she has problems with?

In recent months, I've completed / rebought classic sets from my childhood + few creators ones and recent castle re-issue as well as other things.

I took the time to register my collection on BrickLink.
