If you haven't seen it, a great old school movie with some good poker scenes is "The Cincinnati Kid" with Steve McQueen and Ann Margaret. It's relatively old, made in 1965, but I think it still holds up well today. Definitely worth a watch, or a re-watch!

I have it on DVD. It IS a great film. Poker wise, the only fall down is the climactic hand between "the Kid" and "the Man". Holden wrote a great bit about it in one of his books. It works well in the movie, but poker-wise it is outlandish. Still my number two go-to poker movie behind Rounders, though.

Fair enough regarding the "climactic" scene, but it was still great fun! If you're an HD video snob, this movie is really worth owning on blu-ray!
