Surprised they went this long without RFID. I wonder what the trigger was. Did the chips have the web mold? LOL

Never played there, pulled this pic from someone’s IG:

Looks like a basic ceramic chip. Looks fairly basic to the naked eye, maybe they had the UV / microdot security stuff.

That’s super interesting. They switched out their chips at the beginning of the year. I don’t know what chip security measures they are talking about in the article, I’ve never seen them do much. Most casinos don’t do much. Maybe they run a UV light over this new set, haven’t been cashing out a lot of high denoms with the new set. My guess is the horses trying to cash out were flagged for chips inconsistent with their play but pure speculation.

I’m playing there tomorrow, will see what I can find out. Glad they caught em. It’s a good spot that doesn’t need to be ripped off.

Doesn't look that complicated. Any place that not putting custom molds, UV ink, or RFID is putting their security at risk. I have to wonder if Tina was involved....
