Table topper or hardwood? (1 Viewer)

Just curious what you all think the full benefits of having a table topper are? I have a nice hardwood table that cards slide easily on and hasn't been an issue. Looking to up my game a bit and am considering buying a table topper. Sell me on the need for one!

Makes handling chips during gameplay easier on all fronts

The loud noise, cards sliding too far, possible damage to chips.
I would compare it to parking on your lawn when you can easily have a driveway.

All the above. If you plan on getting nice clay chips, you won’t want them getting banged on a hard surface.
